 + -1 moreMike made the building experience virtually pain free. He communicated with me on a daily basis, answered my phone calls and got back to me right away when I had questions or concerns. He was very helpful in guiding me in making decisions about different systems to install and even down to what windows and appliances are most energy efficient. I was an out-of-town property owner and not able to be on site as often as I would like. I had heard horror stories before about the building process, but couldn't be happier with the service I received and the end result.
Description of Work: M&L Mitchell, Inc. served as general contractor for the construction of my new home. They managed the project from start to finish, including excavating, land clearing, septic and well installations to all the finish work inside. Mike Mitchell is a hands on contractor who did a large majority of the finish work himself and was on site every day. He installed my beautiful hardwood floors himself, did all the tile work in the bathrooms, installed tongue & groove on the walls and ceilings, and installed the beautiful deck off the front and side of the house. He also made the gorgeous Cherry cabinets in my kitchen and bathroom, and has since custom made me some real wood furniture. I don't think there is anything he can't do.
