My dentist of many years recently retired, and my husband and I had not yet looked for another dentist. As fate would have it, I broke a tooth and was at a loss as to who to see or how to proceed. After looking up some potential dentists on Angie's list, my husband made several phone calls. Once he spoke with the friendly, sympathetic folks at Dr. Amato's office the decision was quickly made, and within a couple of hours I was being seen. The experience was absolutely, hands down, the best dental visit I have ever had in my entire life (and I've been around for a good while!). Dr. Amato is extremely gentle, and thoroughly explains everything he is about to do. He gives you treatment choices and lets you decide how much you want to spend-- and his prices are very reasonable. Afterwards, he asks for your feedback about your visit and the care you received. He is like no dentist I have ever been to. It just doesn't get any better than Dr. Amato!!!

Dr. Amato and his staff are great.  When I walk in, I'm greeted by Wilma and then I'm taken back by Rachel the hygienist if I'm getting a cleaning or by Amanda or Crystal if I'm seeing Dr. Amato.  Dr. Amato is very gentle, very knowledgeable and very thorough.  He explains everything and tells you why work has to be done, what will happen if you don't do anything and always gives you several options that you can choose from, based on your own financial considerations.  He cares about your health and explains that your oral health impacts your total health.  That really got to me! It made me understand that if I want to keep these teeth for life, then I have to care for them like I do.  Dr. Amato explained that heart disease and diabetes, both of which run in my family, can be worsened if my teeth are in bad shape because the bacteria in my teeth can travel to my heart.  And for diabetes, the disease is made worse if my teeth are in bad shape.  That really opened my eyes and gives me even more incentive to stay fit AND take care of my teeth.  No other dentist I have ever had has explained stuff to me like this!  And then on top of that, he made my teeth look so great!  And then when you check out, Wilma helps you with all of your financial options and they even have monthly financing through CareCredit.  It was a great experience and I have no need for another dentist!  Thank you Dr. Amato!

He is good. If we have a problem he will take us in same day. He has a very nice personality. He is very outgoing and very friendly.
