As far as the ceramic tile in the shower area, original job was inexpensive, which should have alerted me...maybe around $200. However, I was shocked to see that the worker didn't even try to match the tile. The original tile is white with tiny tan flecks, but he used solid white, which was fine, then added a GREY piece. I just let it go, but should not have.
Watkins did a nice job of fixing grout around my ceramic tile in my foyer. Another company had contracted someone who did not nail down the backer board properly, so I ended up with cracks in the tile itself. Anyway, they later had someone come and quot;fixand quot; the problem, which left me with uneven tile. Eventually the grout began to crack, so the company contracted Watkins to fix it. However, after a few months, the tile began to crack again. I called Watkins and they sent someone out who said I'd have to and quot;take it up withand quot; (the other company). I simply wanted them to fix it and I was willing to pay, though all the other and quot;fixesand quot; had been courtesy of the original company. The guy from Watkins was rather curt and showed absolutely no compassion. I vowed then I would never use them again.

I have used them several times in the past and they are very good; that's why I used them 3 times. Their pricing is competitive but I did not compare too many prices. I will use them again in the future.

When I entered Watkins Flooring, I was greeted immediately by a professional salesperson. I told them what I was looking for.

I was shown all types of flooring that I could put in my kitchen and other rooms I wanted to redo. I decided I wanted to go with Armstrong’s LBT flooring. After looking at all the colors, I chose the color I liked and was also shown all the ways LBT could be installed. I decided to have it put down in a diamond pattern.

The installers took their time and didn’t rush putting the flooring down. I was amazed at how straight the grout lines are,

I decided I wanted to change the backsplash in my kitchen, too. The salesperson showed me all types of ceramic and glass tiles that I could choose. The salesperson went over and beyond helping me decide on the correct color and style that would complement my flooring.

The installers did a fantastic job moving everything that needed to moved out of the way and replaced it in a professional manner. All the work was completed in a timely manner.

My friends have been amazed that the LBT is so warm to walk on, compared to ceramic tile.

I would recommend Watkins Flooring and their staff to anyone.

I loved working with Watkins Floor Covering for this project. My husband and I are somewhat handy when it comes to home-remodeling projects but felt we couldn't tackle installing our carpet. I wasn't sure what color, brand, or texture of carpet of purchase but the friendly salespeople at Watkins helped make my decision so much easier. I was so impressed by the level of product knowledge and how the owner went above and beyond to make sure we were absolutely satisfied. The entire team was such a pleasure working with; from the measuring employee all the way to the installation crew. You can tell they take pride in their work and really enjoy making their customers happy. I would recommend Watkins Floor Covering to anyone needing flooring installation!

When we first started working with the company, it went great. The hardwood floors went in in a matter of weeks. The service was professional and they cleaned up when they left. The stairs on the other hand was a nightmare!! We ordered the stairs the end of July and the job was not completed until the first of November! The stairs look good but the little stuff like touch ups and staining was supposed to be completed by a subcontractor. He never showed up to do the job so I touched up everything. I am pretty sure that the touch ups were included in the price. The bottom 3 stairs were ordered 3 different times because the measurements were incorrect. I would try to call to get an estimate of when the work would be completed and our salesperson never returned the calls. I ended up going to the store and requesting the manufacturer number so that I could deal with them more directly. Another salesperson rolled his eyes when he gave me the number. It was only after I threatened to sue did I finally get a call back. The salesperson apologized for the confusion and attempted to fix the situation but I ended up going to Lowes to get carpet installed. I was going to give the business to this company but decided that I would like to deal someone who returns calls. Do Not go through this company if you want hardwood stairs installed!

They worked straight through for a couple days. They floor has no flaws at all. All the lines are in place and they even asked about molding to be placed down. They originally removed the carpet then they placed a tacky glue down which has to sit over night. They then placed down the tile the following day. About a day later they then placed a silver grout down.
