Outstanding customer service! Called around to a few plumbers hoping somebody would be open on a Saturday to help me fix a leak. Roto rooters said they had somebody available right away which I was extremely grateful for. Daniel F came promptly, explained what the issue was, got the parts to fix it, and completed the job in a timely manner. Daniel was kind and knowledgeable. Really appreciate having him come out and fix the leak!

Really great service! Called told me 30-45mins show time they were at my house in 10. Money for the price is great. Bill was really nice and very knowledgeable on his job. 5/5 would call again if I run into any plumbing issues!

A complete intentional rip off of an African American female senior citizen. Paid $1,200 and Plumber tore up things to get more money. For example, plumber was supposed to fix the shower. Now the toilet backs up in the bathtub.Told me shower needed A new showerhead. He did not test to see if water came out of the showerhead. Complete fraud. So happy I called around and got someone else.

He's okay. I've used them before. They were honest with me.

The receptionist that answered the phone is very rude and unprofessional.  I am asking her questions and she was expecting me to know my own answers. She was using phrases like "I said" and "How am I supposed to know."  Is that not her responsibility to be able inform the potential client without being condecending?  I will not call again nor recommend this company to anyone at all.

I was obviously bothering them by calling, which was evident by the tone when answering the call. I described the issues we were having with both toilets and was asked when I last had the septic pumped. I informed him it is a new house and we have lived in it for 3 years. He then proceeded to tell me my septic tank is full and I need to call a service for which he recommended 2 names. I explained there are only 2 of us living in the house and again he said it was the tank. I immediately called another plumber and described the symptoms. He told me to use a plunger in the shower drain, which loosened the hair blockage and fixed my issues.  At a time when we are vulnerable, Roto Rooter chose to pawn us off on a potential $200 - $400 septic tank pumping. I will never call them again and I will also ensure the coporate office is aware of the representation.

The service was prompt.  They came within 1 hour of me calling because they had a technician in the area.  He was polite.  I had already pulled everything out from under the sink and wiped it down for him.  He told me what the problem was and I told him to go ahead and fix it.  This is how they work.  You are charged a $75 fee to get an estimate.  If you tell the tech to go ahead and do the repairs, then that fee is waived.  I had my Angie's List coupon all printed out and gave it to the technician.  He called the office and they wouldn't take my coupon after all was said and done, so I had to pay full price.  I am, of course, not thrilled with that.  He told me that the owner is very picky about what coupons are used.  Since there is a coupon for them at the top of my Angie's List page, I told him that is where I got it, but they wouldn't take it and since the work had already been done, I had to pay full price.

They were prompt and arranged everything with my tenant to get the sink fixed.  They gave two estimates prior to coming so that we would know the potential price range depending on what they had to do and what equipment was involved.  They ended up charging the lesser amount.  The only negative was that they required payment at time of service rather than billing us as the landlord, so we had to reimburse our tenants. Possibly could have been avoided if I had arranged payment with them prior to the service.
I cannot comment on the price because I did not compare with other providers and I cannot comment on professionalism because I was not at the location at time of service.

It was completed within an hour.

We had an emergency when somebody ran over our water main and broke it. They were so pricey. They had to come out and repair the water line. It was just a PVC line, but they ended up charging us $200 to fix a one-foot piece of PVC because they came out to fix it. They got out here in a timely manner and they were responsive to our calls and stuff like that, but they were just extremely expensive. They charge $75 even to come out just to do an estimate. The quality was good and they did take care of it. When the water main broke, it washed away all the dirt around where the water main would be, and they actually made sure that not only did they fix the pipe but also filled everything back up so that it looked normal. They were very quick, and we originally went with them because they could get out here as fast as possible while everybody else would have taken some time. They were very professional. We may probably not use them again because of the pricing.

I called Roto-Rooter today, March 7, 2012, and spoke with John the owner. I told him of my problem and he said it would be $65 to come out only if they did the work. I believe I was misinformed by this and was not happy that the flat rate was $130. The young man, Chris, that came was very polite and was able to fix our problem. He served us with good customer service but we are still unhappy about the misleading of the price.

The estimated price was 100.00 over the other estimates that I received.

I made the initial consultation with them to come out and give us an estimate to do the plumbing on a first time dishwasher for our home. The consultation fee was $75 which would be applied towards the job if we hired them. We decided we would hire them to do the job. They were supposed to come back a few days later, on a Saturday morning. I waited hours for them to show up, they never did. When I called they said another job was taking longer than expected and they would come at 6 that evening, well, no one ever came. No one called. So we are out $75 and they will never be called for our needs ever again.
