They were responsive in showing up for appointment and giving estimate, but had to reiterate on the materials, that I had thought were specified during original meeting. But, they adjusted and completed the task in very quick order. This is a Family Business and all were very cordial, polite and and left no mess. Fence was constructed well and still looks great.

We could not be happier that we trusted Ray (MRM) with our project (35x20 covered, screened, back porch addition connected to the house). We received an estimate from the owner on day one and Ray worked with us as we adjusted plans and helped to keep our costs as low as possible. Before signing the contract, Ray covered everything in detail and answered all our questions. Ray introduced the project manager and stopped by often to check on the status. During significant periods (like pouring the concrete slab) Ray was on-site working right along with his team. And what a great team. Very professional and experienced. They really know what they are doing and finished the addition ahead of schedule. The team was punctual, communicated well, kept a clean job site, and the Crew Leader, Chuck K., called each night after the team left to check about any concerns. I must give a shout out for Phil Collins, a member of Ray s team. What a professional and all-around great guy. The completed addition is simply outstanding. The final few adjustments were completed by Chuck (obsessed with attention to detail) and my wife is very happy. When the County Inspector is impressed with the quality of construction, you know you chose the right company. If you want a stand-up guy who is not happy until you are happy, Ray Macleod of MRM construction will not disappoint you. We are extremely happy with the results and planning new projects. Guess who we will be using? MRM is the best.

They did an execellant job on my house extension which turned major house repair after the storm hit. Stayed with me & put my house back in one piece. Great value for the money & the whole crew goes aboce & beyond. Will hire again for more projects.

These guys did a fantastic job on my kitchen remodel. In addition to removing and replacing cabinets, they had to patch holes in the ceiling (which is unnoticeable where the new and old portions are, replace drywall and tile work. Frank was tremendous at cleaning up after hos work was complete. The team listened to my input and provided suggestions to make my project look better than I could have imagined. I had other contractors that would talk down to me, but Rick only provided positive feedback. This was my first contracted remodel and would gladly use this team again.

Excellent quality, completed work promptly and did a great job of cleanup. From first contact to finish, they were very friendly, honest and responsible.

This company is amazing. The owner himself did the estimate and then he brought the crew that would be doing the work over and introduced them. They were the most professional workers I have seen in a long time. It took about a week to complete the project but they were here, on time, every morning and cleaned up their work area every single day. They were very respectful to us and to our home. I would highly recommend them to anyone needing work. They will certainly be doing more work for us when need arises.

I received a call right away from Ray of MRM Construction. He came by exactly when he said he would and provided a quote on the spot and in writing via email (which arrived exactly when he said it would). The workers arrived on time and completed the entire project in a single day which I was especially appreciative of. It was quality work and the pricing was completely in line with what I've paid previously for similar projects. Ray called and followed up promptly and with great courtesy. Steven was very knowledgeable, the two electricians were very professional did a wonderful job and they even cleaned up every day after work.

Frank and Will on Ray's team arrived on time, took the time to understand the project, were able to improvise a little when necessary and got the job done quickly and efficiently. Personable and not afraid to take on the task. The project involved crawlspace work, not the most comfortable environment, but it was not an issue for them.

Ray did a great job locating and repairing the cause of a leaky window on our beach home. He responded quickly to our request for some help and stayed in touch with us throughout the process. He sent multiple pictures of the problem he found and made a phone call to explain the needed repairs. I would highly recommend MRM Construction with Ray and his team. I had Ray and his crew come out and turn a garage space into a master bedroom and adjoining mudroom and laundry room and I couldn't be happier with the results! From start to finish the job was done with precision and attention to detail. They ensured that everything met my standards and was absolutely beautiful! Quite simply, Ray is the best! We've just come to the end of a complete master suite reno, the bulk of which was in the bathroom, and we are loving the results. Unfortunately we hit some issues beyond Ray's control, but he stepped up, above and beyond, to put things right. His aim was for the finished result to be the best that it could be, and he did not disappoint. He's a great communicator, has a "can do" attitude, good to work with, and just a thoroughly nice guy! MRM Construction was a pleasure to work with! We had work done on our home in NC while living out of state. Mr. Macleod kept in contact with us throughout the process and responded to all of our emails. Our short deadline was met and the work came out beautiful!

It has been a pleasure to work with Ray. He has changed out ceiling fans and rescreened my porch. Now he is finishing a kitchen remodel for me and his work is beautiful. He met all projected deadlines and always showed up when he said he would. He works side by side with his employees and subcontractors. We recently retired and contracted with MRM Construction with Ray McCloud to do several major home improvement projects including remodeling of a guestroom, double closet door creation in master bedroom, a front deck roofing job and siding for an out building.
