From start to finish a professional, honest establishment. I got quotes from home depot and another contractor who were simply not listening and trying to sell me $10,000 cabinets. I am in this property for another year and there are high chances for selling, so while the kitchen needed desperate remodeling, I wasn't looking to invest enormous amounts of money.
Dave was my sales person. He listened to my needs and gave me choices that were within my budget. He talked to me about the company they use for the cabinets and their years of service in the industry. He kept me up to speed with the cabinet making process an scheduled my installation explaining every detail that I was responsible for (plumbing, electric).
Today my cabinets arrived and were installed. Process started at 730 and ended at 230 pm. The work is flawless, the quality and finish great and the folks who came to drop off/pick up cabinets were fast and took all of their cardboard with them.
The only complaint I have is that the contractor did not wipe the saw dust from inside the cabinets, I did not notice that until late in the day. My sales person came to the house after the installation to make sure I was happy with the work and service and examined the cabinets to make sure the measurements were accurate.
This company was a refreshing experience after dealing with other businesses that only wanted to rip me off. I highly recommend them

Kitchen and Lighting Designs replaced all the kitchen cabinets and countertops in our vacation condo. I worked with Donald Yonkings and he was just great. Very responsive. I only met with him 1 time and we did everything else by e-mail or phone. Don measured and came up with a new design to help with more storage. He really listened to my wishes and came through on every one. The kitchen looks great! There were a few minor things that needed attention after the install. Don made sure they were done. I would definitely use Kitchen and Lighting Designs again.

We talked to several different companies and they were the best priced. They were a couple $1,000's less than everyone else. The quality is still really good. They worked with us pretty well about scheduling. We had it done right before the 4th of July. We were out of town and coming back into town. They came back through and re-checked everything. They made sure everything was how we wanted it. They cleaned up after themselves and made sure there wasn't a huge mess after they left. They took everything with them. They removed the old cabinets and actually let us keep them. They moved them around and helped us with that.

Kitchens and Lighting Designs had a great design of the vanity but my plumber could not figure out how to lay pipes around the design. I had to call the company to send out a representative and set the vanity up, but he set it up so that a faucet nozzle turns the wrong way. Slight chipping in the paint of the supposedly high quality vanity. There was a slight delay in delivery. I do enjoy the creative and individual designs that the company has to offer but that is the only draw back to Kitchens and Lighting Designs for me.
