This company really came through for me when I was in a pinch. The 15 year-old electric Ruud water heater in my garage was leaking and needed changing out. I did some online research and decided on the exact replacement model (a 40gal Rheem). The problem was I couldn’t find any installer who could meet my tight schedule. At that time, I was taking care of my elderly parents at their home during the daytime so my schedule was not very flexible. After unsuccessfully trying to schedule the installation through one of the big home maintenance stores, I found Drain Pro’s on Angie’s List and contacted them. I told them the info for the new heater and we agreed on an install time (9:30AM on 2/12/2015). On the agreed to date/time, they showed up exactly on time with the new water heater. After removing the old heater, they installed the new heater along with a new “expansion tank” (see picture). Within 2 hours after their arrival everything was installed and working. I am extremely satisfied with the installation and would recommend them to anyone needing an electric water heater installed. I give them the highest ratings for everything (price, punctuality, etc.).

These guys are AMAZING! Hard working, funny, professional and good people! I called Brad at 1030 pm and he had someone to our house within the hour! Sammy and Adam stayed at our house for a long time trying to fix our issue! They had to come back the next morning to complete the task! Brad accompanied Sammy on the return trip! It took them HOURS to fix a very bad stoppage that apparently had been in the making for quite a long time! However they didn’t give up and these guys worked VERY HARD to complete this job! We were very impressed by them and very appreciative of them! We would definitely recommend them to any and everyone! We will for sure be using them again! Again thank you guys for your hard work! We really appreciate y’all!

Drain Pro's Fixed our problem and completely overcharged us, not even two days later had issues and Brad (the CEO) answered and hung up and kept ignoring my calls and not returning my voicemails and even blocked my number as well as my husbands, yet I have a warranty on this for a year. He will be taken to court. I am not the first person he has done this too and will not be the last.

You then called me 30 times asking me to call your insurance company to which I spoke to him and gave him the report you didn’t have coverage for the repair I’m sorry that it wasn’t covered. But there was no need to call harassing me about your coverage. So yes you were blocked and remain blocked. Thank you"

Brad responded to my request the same day I called and set up an appointment for the next day. Brad and his helper showed up 15 min. early to assess the problem. Once the assessment was conducted they began to work promptly to fix the waste line joint. While they were fixing the joint problem, Brad recommended that I apply a layer of lime to the ground to counter act any problems I may encounter with the standing waste water. Once the joint was fixed, Brad and his helper applied the lime for me. Brad and his helper were very thorough, professional, and polite. His prices are extremely fair. I will definitely use them for future projects and will not hesitate to refer them to others. It was extremely refreshing to find a young professional with manners and integrity. BRAVO Brad!!!

Very disappointed in the quality of the work. A 220 volt line was run and left exposed and draped over a piece of OSB. We have had to have an electrician in to redo the wiring because of this and the fact the connection was made to a circuit that also had outlets and a dishwasher on it. Water heaters should have a dedicated 30 amp circuit. This appears to have caused a problem with our dishwasher as well as the water heater. The water line that was run has too many plastic connections. The water line was left exposed in the workshop a when it could have been run with other lines through a boxed in area 1 foot away. The job was rushed and not done in a professional manner at all. Every short cut that could be taken was. Cleanup was non existent with pieces of ceiling and trim in the shop area left where they fell. Scrap pipe, wire, boxes and tools were left. While others may have been pleased, our experience was a very negative one. Unfortunately, it appears almost all the work must be done again and we now may need a new dishwasher! We also had a similar experience as did another reviewer, but ours was via telephone not text messages. Good luck!

On your install you called is at 830am with water heater leaking from 3 floor. We responded to your home by 1030. Water heater was in a closet that was built around the water heater years ago and unless we demoed closet water heater wasn't coming out. I gave you options 1) remove closet 2) relocate water heater to garage reroute all plumbing and electrical to garage from 3rd floor. You picked option 2, I explained about the drywall holes we would have to cut in ceiling to which you said "that's fine I have a handyman that can patch" also I personally asked you while I was in your home that you will need to get a electrican to reroute your electrical that line we placed was only temporary so you could have hot water for that day. We finished your wife said quote " don't worry about dust house cleaner is coming to clean" we purchased all material you wrote me a check for $800 said everything looked good 4 days later my back called me about you canceling check. You then sent me a check for $400 which the water heater cost that plus all the materials to tie in water heater. Your not the victim you scamed the company! Good luck"

All of my employees are background checked drug tested and screened before hiring. So it's very upsetting to see a disgruntled customer that is upset because a contractor wouldn't do something for free. You had muitlple contracts to which all were complete with the best craftsmanship around. The damage that you are blaming on my employees are damages that were things you were trying to get us to fix for free and were not part of the contract. Also your making false Algations that myself and my supervisor are thieves all because we wouldn't do something for free! That is not fair for you to having any integrity and badger me for no reason. We fulfilled our agreement per contract and DID NOT vandalize or steal from you I'm sorry you are disgruntled. We have been serving North Carolina for over ten years and never have been so insulted. since then I have found more water under my sink, maybe the trap. I have phoned three times and been given new appointments each time, but no one has ever showed up or called to explain why they weren't coming. I am so very sorry this has occurred because we were extremely pleased until this occurred

I originally hired Drain Pro's to deal with a leaky toilet. They first replaced a broken fill valve. That did not take care of the problem. Brad and his crew were very quick to return and determined the entire tank needed to be replaced. This was done promptly and now, no more leaks! I was impressed by Brad's responsiveness and professionalism and hired him to insulate all my pipes and repair a leaky shower drain. I was very grateful for the discount he offered me as an Angie's List member. Brad always returned my phone calls and was patient in explaining to me (a plumbing novice) what he had done and why it needed to be done. I will not hesitate to hire him and his company again in the future.

Everything went great! Workers were professional, friendly and efficient. They cleaned up when they were finished. The project took a day and a half to complete. Moving the washer and dryer out of my kitchen to the upstairs bonus room has created so much more space in the kitchen while also using spare space in the bonus room. This was the first of many projects we have planned for our house and we will definitely hire this company again.

I was suspicious of the water heater at my condo. Unable to drain off water and thought it might have a lot of sediment. Found Brad on Angie's List and gave him a call. He arrived on time, and looked at the water heater and thought that an expansion tank and cleaning might correct my problem. We are rarely there, so he came back and attempted to flush the heater, but it was filled with sediment and unable to drain. He immediately called me and we agreed to do a new water heater. That has been completed.
