I have deal with three other companies' and I am very pleased with the service, cost and the professionalism of the person whom conducted my repairs. He made sure I was heppy and he also explained what he was doing. The last company installed the unit routed water lines over some of the panels which involved the whole unt was not being serviced as required. These Comfort Theory rerouted the lined so my unit can be serviced as required and I will let Comfort Theory heating and Air conduct a six month inspection from here on out

Comfort Theory did a fantastic job on our home in Surf City. They were prompt, easy to communicate with, gave a fair price and stuck to it even with some small changes, and the work was great quality. They installed a UV air cleaner as well. Highly recommend!

Mr. Richard and his team have been nothing but professional, prompt and on time. I have been pouring money into my ac system over the last 3.5 years. I had it professionally checked May 18th. I was told it was just low on feron paid the $275 for visit and adding , but it was working fine until early morning of May 19th. Back at square 1, unit is being a money pit. I was wanting a second opinion and honest recommendations to fix my ac. I reached out to more than 10 reputable hvac companies, in 4 different counties. (Beaufort, Carteret, Craven, and Onslow County).I was able to get response from companies , the common problems I ran into was cost on diagnostic fee/ house visit fee. The fees ranged from $70-$180. And wait list for "emergency visits" were at least 2 wks out at that time. I received a response email from Richard with Comfort Theory in Jacksonville. Not only was the diagnostic fee affordable, I was able to get a scheduled appointment before the end of that week. Technician Francisco was amazing, made good report with brother in law, and was transparent with the ac problems we were facing and the costs on repairs. Long story kinda shorter... Mr.Richard was able to get me quotes and willing to order needed part (he did discuss the need for a new ac unit). We collaborated and decided a new ac was the best decision. I was given an exact quote on the new ac, with tax, and labor included. As we all know this economy is struggling and unfortunately I did not have any money in my savings to replace my ac. Mr. Richard connected me with 2 financial options to see if I was able to get a loan for the ac. I was very blessed and got approved to lease to own. (Not the most ideal situation but we had no other options) the process was totally easy and hassle free. I was able to get a brand new ac unit just a few days after my approval with the financial company. During the ac installation other problems were brought to our attention like the dryer duct not being connect under the house to the outside causing increased humidity in the house. And a problem with the duct flow of my son's bathroom. I was able to contact Richard and he gave me a quote for both projects and able to set up an appointment for me. I definitely recommend this company

I cannot thank the owner of Comfort Theory enough. A contractor incorrectly installed my Nest Thermostat and it was over 100 degrees in my rental property. The owner answered the phone after hours on the weekend, walked me through what to do, and sent someone out first thing in the morning. All of the techs that I've worked with have been extremely nice and knowledgeable, as well as the office staff. Highly recommend!!

Very professional people. Neatly dressed. Arrived on time. Worked with me and my finances for a motor install. Cleaned up after he ( Richard),completed the install. He took his time and checked everything before he left. I am very happy with the work that he did , and shall choose them to do annual checks on my a/c. I definitely recommend this company.

They came right way they didn't charge for the visit they came on date and time was scheduled. Very reliable company and charged us half of the price the others would. I highly recommend.

We tried to go through our home warranty company to upgrade our ac to a new unit when the old one quit. There were delays and eventually I had to get a refund from AHS. I requested a quote on homeadvisor and Richard contacted me. He was very helpful. With the issues I had experienced with AHS he was able to expedite the Install of a new unit within a couple of days. Also, he was cheaper than the "discount" price I had with the home warranty company. I strongly recommend him for any AC work.

Just really good people

I hired Richard due to my unit being 20 years old and finally needing a new one. Other companies wanted a lot for the same work and I prefer to work with the small businesses anyway. Not only did he come in and give the utmost respect anyone could ask for, but he provided updates in a timely manner, as well as did a phenomenal job and answered any questions we had. I would recommend Comfort Theory for any of your AC needs!
