The experience was kind of edgy. They found me a house in the category but it wasn’t for the pricing that I had to work with. I thought it was really rushed and they didn’t really put in the effort that I needed, in order to get a nice home. I am happy with the home that I have but I can’t do anything about it now. The house is okay. I am in the military so I tried doing it by just seeing the pictures. They didn’t take very good pictures for me to actually see the size of the house or if it was what I was looking for. I didn’t even see the house until the day we were signing the contract. I only met with them once.

I absolutely despise this "real estate" agency! When my husband and I got married, I was living in Florida and he was stationed at Camp Lejuene. I looked on the internet for a small, affordable house for us until we could move on base and when I found one I sent my husband to look at it. He had no complaints about the property, said the rent was a good deal and told me that he was going to sign the lease. I said 'ok' because I wanted to get myself moved quickly and failed to read online reviews about who we were renting from,... BIG MISTAKE! 3 months into my 6 month lease we got a phone call from century 21, saying that the landlord was selling the house and that they need to show it to the buyers. That wasn't a big deal for me but we were out of town so I asked them to come back a few days later. I called century 21 when we returned home to ask when I should expect the buyers to come to my home. The lady I spoke to was HORRIBLY rude and informed me that it "wasn't my concern and when 'their client' decides to come by they will try 'their best' to let me know ahead of time"..... I'm sorry, it's not my concern? I was under the impression that I lived here?? A few days later I get a call from the listing agent of our home and he tells me that the buyers will be coming over between 10 & 11 A.M. the following day. He THEN 'asks' me to leave during this time to give them "some privacy"..... ? (I'm not sure about anyone else but I'm not comfortable with strangers of any kind in my home while I'm not there...) I told him (as politely as possible) that my husband works, I'm a stay at home mom and our 2nd vehicle isn't street legal at the moment,... so me leaving during the day isn't an option, plus my lease says that I have the right to be here when people enter. He argued briefly but he finally got the idea that I wasn't going anywhere. The buyers of the home brought an inspector who found multiple things wrong with the house, so everyday for about 2 weeks I had people knocking on my door (with out any notice) wanting to come in and "fix" things through out the house. I don't mind them making repairs but could I get 5 minutes notice so I can look decent and put on a BRA!? Apparently that's TOO MUCH to ask from these people!  I even called the Local board of Realtors and they told me even though my lease says they are supposed to give me adequate notice, they aren't violating my rights. Maybe they aren't violating my rights but where am I supposed to draw the line? This house wasn't steam cleaned before I moved in, and I'm not 'allowed' to steam clean it,.... I have to pay $150-$200 to have the carpets cleaned by a professional before I move out,.... !  I'm a clean freak! There's nothing in this house that I can't clean on my own,...but I have to pay a professional because I wasn't here to look over the lease (due to the rush to find a house). I've never used the fireplace but I have to pay $50-$75 to have a 'professional chimney sweep' come to my house and say, "they didn't use the chimney"....! When I got here the back yard was,....disgusting. The pine needles and debris from the trees was about 3 feet high. I worked for 6 hours in a TINY backyard to clear everything so my daughter could play! The lease however says that I have to practically manicure and fertilize the front, side and backyard before I move....? The backyard doesn't have one blade of grass because they let the yard go for so long, and it's my responsibility to fix it? Not to mention the fact that I've told them 4 times about huge spiders getting into the house and just the other day one bit me,... is it their fault? Apparently not because; 'they sent a guy over to spray for bugs',... but I never saw him, and I never saw anyone fix the big gaps in the windowsills, or under the doors. These people are rude, period. Unless you are buying a house from them they could care less about doing what a good real estate company should do, and honestly, I wouldn't trust them enough to buy from them either! Since I've been here I've heard nothing but horrible things about this office and I wanted to share what I've been through so far and hope that maybe no one else gets cheated by them again. I feel like they are crooks and have no concern about the tenants they rent to what so ever.
