It went great as expected. Dan had conducted a couple of home inspections for me about 3 years ago. He is very thorough and knowledgable about construction that I wouldn't trust anyone but him to do my home repairs. A leak had developed by one of my windows and caused a big moisture problem in a wall. The wall had become very wet and soft and was starting to deteriorate. Dan provided a very reasonable estimate and was very responsive. He got the work done very quickly and left no mess from the rebuilding of the wall behind. I could not be happier with the quality of work he provides and recommend him to anyone who wants high quality repairs or remodeling at a reasonable price. Dan is a pleasure to work with and I know I can count on him to fix things right the first time!

All of the projects Dan has done for us have been completed to our utmost satisfaction.
We have a major project (garage addition) that is still ongoing. It is coming along wonderfully. Dan is currently working on the interior of the garage, installiing the drywall.
I wanted to comment on past work he's performed for us.

After the home inspection Dan preformed he determined that I had an electrical issue that posed an electrical hazard. He immediately had this issue fixed. The only problem I have had so far with this contractor is response time. I have gone a few lengthy periods where it was hard to get a hold of him or recieve a call back. i have expressed my concerns with him and communication has gotten better. About a month later June 4 2012 Dan went out and preformed the work on my roof. Since I am not there to know the work was done, Dan sent me some detailed digital photos of what was done. I was very happy with the work and the price. If communication continues to improve I look forward to using Dan as long as he is in the bussines. Very knowledgeable and passsionate contractor.

I am serving active duty and own a rental property in Jacksonville North Carolina, Rather than drive up from florida to visit and inspect my house, I decided to use a professional. I contacted Dan with 4 Square Builders and he is a man who knows his trade and is passsionate about his work. He sent me a very detailed home inspection with great photos. Well worth the 250.00. After we spent a lengthy converstation on the phone talking about the findings and he helped me triage my home repairs from serious down to cosmetic. His detailed home inspection gave me the piece of mind that I need living so far away from my property. My tenants also said he was very friendly and very helpful. If you own a rental property and need a contractor or home inspector you can trust Dan is the Man. I have found out through the years many Jacksonvile contractors do shotty work that just has to be re done costing more than just doing it right the first time.
