I've used THOMPSON HEATING & COOLING for years. And Jeff has been one of the most trusted folks I deal with. I'm a native Charlottean, and Jeff's the best I've ever know in the area. I'll never call anyone else.

Oh gosh, I don't even know, because I am a regular customer I think THOMPSON HEATING & COOLING gave me some kind of special rate, so I have no idea. They are just great to work with and very fair on pricing and always reliable. 

He's great. He's a little bit more expensive than other people he service makes up for it. He's great he's the owner and the one that comes to your house every time so I trust him.

The first thing Jeff did was put a Band-Aid on the current system. This made it so we could stand to be in the house. They took about a week to put in the entire system. They were clear in all their communication, and gave us an itemized bill to explain what we were paying for. We had no idea how much a new system would cost, so they answered all our questions (we had a lot!). They returned every phone call and email, showed up early every day, and they were very professional. We appreciated them so much and would refer them to anyone in need of a new system. They are great at what they do, and they are even better people. They even send Christmas cards to their customers!

Service and communication was excellent. Leading up to the service, there was contact and expectations of time set. He was on time, and very professional. Previously, we had used a big name company as we were under a new home warranty. That company was a 4 hour window and a not so friendly person. We were very pleased with the small company personal service we received this time and will gladly use them again. Being a small company did have one drawback, and that was having to reschedule 1 time. We were just having routine service, and there was a heat wave that shifted priority to those with broken/no service. I had no issue at all with this. It was completely understandable. They were in communication the entire time, actually asked about changing my slot instead of just doing it (as another company has done to me in the past). This respect for me as a customer, was wonderful. They understand we are all customers and have made commitments to us regardless of our needs over another. All that actually increases my willingness to work with them again.

He did a HVAC inspection and found that the Heater needed to be cleaned and the AC Coil was dirty as well

My wife and I bought a home in June and had to replace the HVAC system and the roof right away. They worked with our budget and the service was amazing. Jeff and Carrie took care of everything and went above and beyond. The weekend before they got started, our old system stopped working completely and Jeff came out and put a temporary fix on our system so we weren't miserable before they could get started. We have 2 big dogs who are nervous with most people but Jeff was great with them. This was especially important because we weren't home during most of the work. They were efficient, professional, friendly and hard-working. A day after the install was complete something happened and it stopped working. When we called they were out of town and the apprentice Jacob drive 2.5 hours to fix a simple wire connection. We are so happy with our new system and with the quality of the experience. We will definitely recommend them to our friends.

We are very satisfied with his work. We have used him for a couple of years now. We like his honesty. We trust him for doing the service on our equipment. There are a number of companies that have taken advantage of us in the past and he is the most credible person. He is very reliable. I would recommend him for his honesty. It is a small company; it is one person. He owns the activity that he does. He is not managing other employees that come and go. We stand behind him a 100%. He has been accurate on everything that he has done. He has assessed other things that other vendors have come back and tried to take advantage of. He is an honest and efficient guy. He will come in and take care of whatever the issue is. I really like him. I would rate him a little low on responsiveness because he doesn't work on weekends unless it is an emergency; I will wait the extra day to get an honest answer. We would absolutely use him again in the future.

Jeff was very professional, explained everything he did in detail, and made sure we were satisfied before he left. When I did have a question later, I called and spoke to his wife, Carrie, who was very helpful as well and answered my question completely. I would definitely uses Jeff again for all my heating and cooling needs.

Jeff showed up on time, was professional and courteous, did superb work, and charged a very reasonable price. He is dependable and punctual. I would recommend Thompson Heating and Cooling to anyone. This company is run like companies of a time gone by. There is a concern for the quality of work provided for the price.

Jeff is always on time and is honest with his assessments of what is wrong with our heating and air conditioning units. Never tries to over sale, like big companies. He fixes exactly what is wrong and at a fair price. I will never use anyone but him ever!

He is superb. He said it would not have been easy for the home owners to do because there are some safety precautions to take. He also helped us identify a huge problem with our A/C and luckily our house was still under home warranty, so, a different company under our home warranty actually replaced our air conditioner. He helped us realize that it was a serious problem. He is a really nice guy, I fee that he is honest and has even given me a bite over the phone on how to fix some problem, so, he did not have to come out and bill me for the visit. He is very friendly, easy to work with and very reliable. He gets the job done and I feel his price is fair.

Jeff came to my house to fix a few minor problems that showed up in a home inspection. However, once he inspected the problems he came up with a totally new solution and promised to be back the next morning with the new supplies. Not only did he show up early for both appointments, his work was quick and conscientious. He even took the time to answer my questions about the house that ended up not being related to his job (what is that vent for?).
