T Phillips Carpentry and Handyman Service

We hired Tommy Phillips to update our kitchen. He installed new cabinets with soft close doors and pullout shelves. He built a kitchen buffet and hutch and, in addition, he built a computer desk with a drawer for files. He also installed crown moulding throughout our condo. He is an excellent carpenter and very easy to work with.

My experience was excellent. I would recommend Thomas without hesitation and would contact him again for my next project. He did an amazing job!

Mr. Phillips did an amazing job on our library built-ins. They are beautiful, sturdy floor to ceiling built-ins and we couldn t be happier with them. He was great to work with and he took the time to understand exactly what we wanted and he delivered %100. He communicated really well and was very easy-going and personable. We re definitely going to use him for any other wood working projects we have.

Tommy was absolutely phenomenal to work with. The built-in bookshelves are beautiful, and exactly what we were hoping for. He not only does a great job with the project itself, but is a great communicator and a joy to have around. He even went out of his way to help us hang a big mirror than had been off the wall for months. We can't recommend Tommy enough!!

Tommy was great because he took the time to listen to what I was envisioning and actually draw it out with dimensions and pricing. I appreciated his time and had a great vibe from him and his pricing was a bit lower than the competition which was important to me. He kept in touch during the process and is installing everything this week!

Tommy turned a laundry room closet into a great pantry with interchangeable shelving, turned a long hallway closet into a lovely bookcase, and gave an oddly shaped bathroom closet much more storage with built in shelving. His work is very professional and he uses quality materials. His pleasant personality was an added bonus!

We have worked with Tommy on 2 projects over the course of the past year or so and we couldn't be happier. We first hired Tommy for custom built-in cabinets/bookshelves on either side of our fireplace. They were extremely well made and look as if they've always been there. We recently were undergoing a kitchen remodel and contacted Tommy to help with making all new cabinet doors, drawers, and panels. Tommy did an amazing job as our cabinet boxes have "settled" a bit and we're not exactly even. He added molding to the tops of the cabinets and also made our kitchen island a beautiful focal point by adding raised panels and baseboards. In both projects, we communicated exactly what we were looking for and Tommy executed at a very high level. He also had several suggestions that we proceeded with. Tommy and his helper were a joy to work with. There was a problem with the paint selected for the job and it did not live up to the quality workmanship that Tommy expected to give. He ordered new paint and repainted the job to both our satisfaction. I have also seen some of Tommy's wood workng and remodeling, and I was very impressed. I was very pleased with the service and quality. We had built in bookcase shelves installed, a mail slot and additional shelves installed for our office. He did excellent work. He even stuck around to help us put up some artwork. My staff and I think highly of him and will use him again for some future projects

Great looking set of built in cabinets and shelves. Very punctual and worked hard to get them installed quickly but correctly.

Tommy did an above and beyond excellent job on my drywall repairs. His prices are very reasonable, he returns phone calls, and is just a nice person to deal with. I had another project involving windows that he took a look at and had it fixed within minutes. This saved me a lot of $$ over replacing the windows.
