Work was just ok…ver expensive. Used another vendor last month

I called South End because I thought I had a leak. They sent someone and the guy was at my house less thank 5 minutes. He told me I had a must have a kink in my hose. I assumed I'd have to pay a small amount but I was charged $211 and that was with 20 percent discount because my husband was a Marine. My husband passed away 3 years ago and I'm not quite used to these problems. If they charge this for less than 5 minutes I can't imagine how much they charge to actually do something!!! I will NEVER use this company again!!!!!!

I am an out-of-state landlord and am extremely impressed by Blake's work ethic. Blake went to the property on time to meet the renters for a HVAC non-working issue, and once he found out the issue was only caused by a switch in the attic that was accidentally flipped over by someone, he fixed it. And then he checked to make sure there was no problem with the whole heating and cooling system and called me on the phone to update me on it. He was so gracious as to not to charge for anything for the trip. Next time when I have any HVAC needs I will surely reach out to South End. Blake has won me over! The young man who came was very professional and polite. He connected the bidet toilet seat to the water line without any problems. Replacing the kitchen faucet was more difficult but he did what was necessary to get the job done.

Not great. The installation was fine, but the customer services was not at all. I was not home, my husband's health is not great so he was not able to go out to inspect. Our yard had been flooded for two days due to leak. They are on time, he agreed to pricing we were told it is standard. They were recommended. It has I still do not have an itemized invoice. I emailed and called two days before a response. I was told the the incorrect price for the water heater and two hours of work for almost $700 is high. Will not use or recommend to anyone.

Ryan Shadron of South End Plumbing came to repair our toilet today. He was punctual, professional yet friendly, got right to work, and finished in record time. He left absolutely no mess for me to clean up. He also checked water pressure coming to our house to be sure it was within safe limits. It's good to know that it is. Excellent experience! I highly recommend!

They came out very promptly. They installed the water heater based on new standards which were surprising. We haven't had a new one in almost 20 years. The water heater is working just fine. The service was very prompt. It was emergent so you never really prepared for what you're going to deal with. They took care of it in a very timely way. They did a great job.

After spending two days calling several plumbing companies found on Angie's List and only receiving one callback with an appointment set three days later (and that only after being told to wait on another potential customer to determine that company's availability), I called South End Plumbing since I had used them at my previous work in facility management and had always had a good experience with them. They were able to schedule me the same day, and though they were slightly more expensive than other quotes I received, they were the only ones who could do the work immediately.
The plumber who came out (hate I can't remember his name--we talked for a couple hours while he was working) was very professional and knowledgeable of his work, from altering feed line placement to setting pipe fittings. The only hiccup was the electrical, which had blown out when the other heater died (didn't know it at the time). He recommended the electrician (Mobley) they usually work with to complete the work, but for South End's part, it was a quick, efficient, high-quality experience, and I look forward to using their services again in the future.

Responded on Sunday with no extra fee.  Had to come back next day to complete repair due to needed part.  Leak was small so this was acceptable.  Everything else went great.

The water heater that we had was not up to code.  They put a pan underneath the heater, in case it ever leaked.  They also ran a line outside in case anything were to ever go wrong.  They were out within 45 min's of me calling them.  They were clean cut and very fairly priced.  They were also very professional and I would recommend them.

One of our showers was draining slowly. Another plumber and was unable to pass a snake. Said his camera wouldn't fit. Quoted $3000-5000 to dig up the entire shower and replace the pipe. At the recommendation of a friend who is a contractor, I called South End Plumbing for a second opinion. Jon was the technician - he has very polite, professional and knowledgeable. He was able to access the drain by disconnecting the toilet. Passed a camera to identify and ultimately a snake to solve the problem - a plastic bag and a hairnet lodged in the pipe. It took awhile, but we were delighted not to have to dig up the drain. The shower works great now. Would definitely use this company again.
