Prompt and thorough. As expected, more freon was needed for one of our 3 units but besides that, no additional charge. 30 days later my condensate pan began collecting water indicating a clogged condensate pipe. Miller responded promptly and on time, diagnosed the problem accurately, then removed and replaced the pipe. Unlike other providers who use their access to your house to sell other services, which oftentimes run in the many hundreds, most of which I know nothing about, Miller does the required work, does it well and charges fairly.

The inspection was done a week ago and the tech was late. The next week my AC went out and the outside condensing fan need to be repalced. I called the after hours number and spoke to them 3 times and was promised a call back but never got one. I waited until the office hours and they said it was not marked urgent but I did request 3 times it was as the AC was out they said they would try to get someone out but made no promises
The tech showed up on 7/16 and said nothing was wrong but I insisted it was and he waited a couple minutes and sure enough the fan kicked out and stopped. He said he would go and get the new fan and be back in the am on the 17th but never showed up and I had to make two calls to track him down and he showed up at 5pm with the wrong part and had to go back and come back the next day with the right part at around 11am. The whole time I was without AC in 90 degree weather-VERY,VERY poor service all around!!!

The first contractors came in December 2010 and told me that I had two cracked heat exchangers and that carbon monoxide was likely leaking into the house. I was "shown" these "cracks" and then given a "release" to sign, which stated that I had been "warned" about the CO problem. That company also gave me prices for replacing the heat exchangers as well as the entire heating units. In desperation, I contacted the home builder and was directed to Miller Contracting. They came to the house immediately, and showed me where the heat exchangers are located, which was not where the other technician had shown me. The Miller technician examined the heat exchangers and said they look almost brand new, and there was nothing wrong with them. Miller then serviced the units, and they have been operating great. I should also note that I have always had two "working" CO detectors in the house and have never had a CO signal. The first technician also used one of his own CO devices to try to get a CO reading and could not.

The tech told me (I always stay nearby and observe) he was going to adjust the furnace so that it does not burn as hot. He said it sounded to him it was burning too hot. (No measurement or any device used to measure correctly). They originally installed the units in my home so I did trust this company. I asked him that if he lowered the heat would that make the furnace run as hard and longer? The tech said it should be unnoticeable in my gas bill. My next gas bill was MORE THAN DOUBLE than my previous gas bills for this season. I called them and reported this to the office and said that I believe the status change on my furnace was effected. The lady tells me that she talked with the tech and that the adjustment he made should have nothing to do with my gas bill. I still wanted them to come out and take a look. The tech called me before he came and said that if he came out he would need to charge me a service call denying he did anything to effect my gas bill. So, I did not call back, he did not come out. I decided I was done with company. I called a friend of mine instead that is a service tech with the same company but no longer worked for them, he had equipment that he owned to test this. He put a device on the furnace to get a measurement reading and it was off factory specifications! The guy that came out didn't even go up to the second furnace in the attic. I had my friend make sure the attic furnace was fine and it was still set to factory specifications. And it was. The furnace that the tech from this company checked was wrong. The unit the guy had not touched was fine. PROVING this tech from Miller Contracting Services incorrectly adjusted my furnace system causing my gas bill to increase dramatically. Needless to say, I question this companies honesty, commitment to customer service and I will not use this company again.

They came out after I had called 6 different vendors. Two did not send a quote. Patrick came out, surveyed the job and looked at the attic. We had a room that needed the ventilation system reworked. They were prompt and professional. I ended up replacing the furnace and AC at the same time. They did come back and added a vent for better ventilation. I highly recommend them. Their pricing is very competitive. They are a Carrier and Bryant dealer.

My heat had stopped working on one of the coldest days this year. I had called other companies and they said I would be the following day before anyone could come out. Miller Contracting said they would get me worked in that day. Six pm that night Charles got to my house and before I could ask him to take off his shoes he put on shoe covers. Being a mother of two small children I am always nervous about who we let in the house. Charles was very quick to put me at ease he was very polite, very knowledgeable, and with in minutes was explaining that the blower motor in the furnace was bad and that he had one on the truck he could replace it with. He had it fixed in about 45 minutes and then vacuumed up all the insulation and dirt that had come out of the attic. He left the area cleaner then when he got there. Very good experience.
