Mike's Furniture Repair did an excellent job! The bed frame is now sturdier than when the bed was new! Their work was precise and meticulous and it was also quite pretty. No detail was overlooked. Mike was very friendly and helpful in determining what needed to be done and what part he could do. He picked up the chair and returned it when done. The work was done very well, reasonably priced, and completed in a timely manner. He also located a local company that we will later have reupholster the chair too.

Two men came to the house to assess what needed to be done, gave me a quote for the work, then took the pieces that could be removed and repaired to their shop and left the last piece to be repaired at home by them when they returned the items a few weeks later

Mike was great. He got back to me within the hour after I called him and set up an appointment to inspect the damage. He generously came on Saturday (to repair the piece) and Sunday (after it had bonded to finish up) because he was already booked up the following week. He was extremely punctual and always gave me a heads up when he was on his way. The finished work looks great, even better than my expectations. Providers like Mike are exactly why I joined Angie's List. I will hire him again for any furniture related issues, and recommend him to all my friends.

I searched Angie's List, found Mike's Furniture Repair and gave him a call.  He came to our home, explained the problem, explained what he had to do to repair it and took the chair to his shop (he said he could have come back a second time with the right parts and equipment and repaired it here, but we didn't need the chair, so he took it to his shop).  A week later he returned the chair.  In addition to repairing the problem about which we had called him, he repaired other small issues that he found.
All in all, we were totally satisfied with the service Mike provided and we will absolutely call him again should we have another problem with a piece of furniture.

This was the second time I've used Mike and he is just excellent!  He done an outstanding job for me both times I've used him and he's very friendly and easy to talk to.  I highly recommend him!

I called Mike's Furniture Repair on March 11 to set up an appointment for him to come to my house and examine the hutch.  He came the next morning right on time.  Mike looked at the damaged piece and set he could definitely fix it.  He took the door off the hutch and said he would bring it back within 2 weeks.  He brought it back in less than 2 weeks; explained in detail what he did to repair it and assured me that that piece would not split again.  Mike is not only a great craftsman, but he is also very nice and easy to work with.  He did a great job and the price of $125.00 was very fair.  You would never know that the door was damaged in any way.  I would definitely use him again or recommend him to anyone who needs furniture repair.

All went well. Mike knows furniture repair and has referrals for work he generally does not do. He was reasonably priced. I will definitely be calling him again for any future furniture repairs.

I don't know where to begin. Mike Davis agreed to meet me at my home after his regular business hours because I work and he showed up EXACTLY when promised. Mike described to me in detail what he could do and what he couldn't do to fix my rocking chair. We agreed on a reasonable price and he said he would return it in 2 weeks and so he did, after his regular business hours. It was not only repaired in the manner he promised, but he even took extra steps to make it look spectacular. I am so happy to have my rocking chair back in great condition and it was not only hassle free, but an enjoyable experience. When was the last time you could say that about a household repair?

Mike repaired and reinforced four windsor style chairs where the wood on the backs was cracked, or, in one case, broken completely off. They are sturdy now, though the one that was badly broken will have to be treated gently from here on out.They look good.

Mike called to set up an appointment and arrived right on time. He was very professional, personable and knowledgeable. The repair was more complicated than he had anticipated; but he was able to fix it on site in my home. It took him about 30 minutes and, when he was done, my sectional looked as good as new.

Mike repaired a 20 year old 2 seat recliner that I dearly loved. I had not been able to use the recliner because I couldn't find someone to repair it. I was finally able to search out Angie's List and find Mike's Furniture Repair. He responded quickly and promptly. After determining what was needed, we ordered the parts. Mike returned and finished the job professionally.

I'm happy to recommend Mike to anyone.

My recliner Love Seat was manufactured in 1999 and the company that manufactured it was out of business. Both of the recliner release handles were broken but the Love Seat itself was in great shape. With the company being out of business we went to the internet to locate the release handles. We found them on line and I ordered them. He then showed me how easy it was to replace the old with the new, saying in essence that I could save the cost of a second visit by doing it myself.

Needless to say I would highly recommend Mike's Furniture Repair to anyone.
