About us

After a trip to Florida in May 2008 with our 9 month old to Grandma and Grandpa's house. Days ahead of our visit her Grandparents called around to some neighborhood friends to see if they had a crib, pack n' play and/or a high-chair available. If it wasn't for the help from some of their neighbors we would have had to bring this equipment with us. This experience made me think. Wouldn't it be great if there was a local family run business that rented new and gently used baby equipment for a low daily, weekly or monthly rate to those who no longer have babies or toddlers under the age of 5? We will only use the brands you like best at home: Graco Pack N' Plays, Baby Trend High-Chairs, Radio Flyer Wagons, Fisher-Price Cradle Swings, and the list goes on and on. Our extensive inventory represents equipment that is tough enough to handle the demands of being rented and being continuously cleaned and sanitized. At the first sign of wear, items are "retired" while still in superior working order and donated to several local and well-deserving charities and family resource organizations.

They provided exactly what we needed on short notice, complete with linens, instructions, and solid pricing. They were more than reasonable when our plans changed. All in all a straight A experience - thank you!!
Description of Work: We were traveling to Asheville for my sister's wedding, and my 2.5 year old is too big for a pack & play (all that our hotel offered) and not ready for a big girl bed. There are no baby equipment rental companies in Asheville, and Little Out of Towners saved our trip by renting us a portable crib that was super-simple to transport and set up. It was slightly smaller than a regular crib, fit easily in our car, folded flat and set up in 2 steps.
