David Waddell Plumbing

I cannot say enough good things about David Waddell. He is a technical plumbing expert and very thorough in everything he does. I remodeled a kitchen and two bathrooms in a 30-year-old house that looked like the plumbing had been done by someone that was either drunk or didn't know what he was doing. David got everything straightened out so my new cabinets could be installed without tearing them up. He also installed new valves for the bathtub and shower and even helped me accomplish some unrelated work. He is a thoroughly professional and expert plumber and a very nice guy.

I highly recommend David. (Business is now called Banner Plumbing & Home Services). He does great work and pricing is very good. I has reached out to a few other plumbing companies and most were either considerably more expensive or wanted to charge me a trip charge to come out and quote the job. David gave me a price over the phone and that was the price he charged when he finished the job.

David did a great job so good looking forward to him doing more work in the future for me.

I called other plumbers but they wanted me to pay for travel and everything. With this company he came right out in about 20 minutes and got it fixed right away! Angie's List told me to start with this company and I am happy I did! He put a pressure gauge in to see if the pressure caused it. He left it all night and came back the next day and it was in normal range. He told me what it registered before he left and what it was when he got back and advised me that it was working properly. He was really good!

Work was done promptly and at a fair price. He would have come out the day I talked with him had I been available, but since I was not, he came the next day. He looked at the problem, went to get the parts he needed since my existing configuration was abnormal, came back and made the repairs within a couple of hours. He gave me a quote for the amount the work would cost up front. Very polite, professional, and prompt. Will definitely use again for future plumbing needs.

David Waddell is wonderful! We had to turn the main water to the house off because the shower handle broke off and was leaking. I called him around 2:30 in the afternoon and he called back within about 20 minutes. An hour later he was at the house and quickly gave us an estimate, drove to the supply store, and had the problem fixed and water restored to the whole house by 6pm! And he didn't charge us an arm and a leg for an emergency repair!! The total cost was $170, including the part itself which was about $70. He is honest, cost conscious, and very fast. We will definitely be calling him for all our plumbing needs!!! Thank you David Waddell Plumbing.

Mr. Waddell is a great contractor, a true professional. He is on time, pleasant and thorough. He takes the time to explain things which is rare.

David installed a touch control kitchen sink after we had new countertops put in. He was prompt, efficient and friendly. I would not hesitate to call him for any plumbing needs in the future. His charges were very reasonable we felt.

We called David to install two new toilets for a major home renovation. While he was installing the toilets he noticed that a faucet was leaking that had recently been installed by another plumber. David repaired the faucet without charge. We would highly recommend David for any plumbing work. We've used a lot of plumbers through the years but David will be our plumber for any repairs in the future.

I would encourage anyone with plumbing needs to consider David Waddell Plumbing. Our toilet would not completely flush. We originally called Roto Rooter who charged us $129 to augur out the line. This worked for about 3 hours, before reverting back to not flushing (see our associated review of Roto Rooter). For them to come back out and take out the toilet would cost about $300 - according to their estimate, and possibly replace the toilet.
We gave David Waddell a call and he was able to accomodate us on short notice. He tried to augur the line as well, to no avail. Then, rather than replacing the toilet, he disassembled it and went to work on it to find the cause of the blockage. It turns out it was a was a credit-card size piece of plastic in a very awkward location.
Eventually David was able to remove it, and re-assembled the toilet - which now works with no issues.
Total cost? $120 (as compared to the $300+ quoted by Roto Rooter).
I will not hesitate to work with David again.

David was on time. Installed disposal with no problems.

He did an excellent job. We had a leak within a wall behind a bathroom sink. So David came out, gave us an estimate and began work promptly. He first installed a cut-off valve in the attic and then tore out a small place in the wall behing the sink. An old valve had deteriorated so he left and went out to buy a replacement part. Before long he came back and installed the replacement part and then worked with my husband to put back the torn out area below the sink (we still had to later touch over the area with paint). His whole plumbing repair took less than four hours and he could not have been more helpful or efficient.

Great! David fixed the spigot and went to far as to go into the crawl space to make sure the spigot would not move when we turned it on. He also checked the other spigot that dripped. Turned out there was debis in the pipe so it would not shut off completely. He cleaned it out so it would work properly.

David returned our call promptly. Based on the explanation of our problem, he was able to give us a detailed explanation of what services we would need and an estimate. He was able to accomodate the time we chose for an appointment and arrived as promised. His estimate was to the penny.

He was excellent and we will not hesitate to use his services again if we have any future plumbing needs.

I love their work. Prices are reasonable. They always go the extra for me. They are professional and great guys.
