It did not go as well as I had anticipated. The painter and helper were not as neat as I expected. They got ceiling paint on one of my expensive gold mirrors over the vanity. The vanity cabinet hardware did occur seamlessly and left cabinet doors somewhat uneven. They also got paint drippings several places on my wallpaper and carpet. I may consider hiring again with some serious coaching involved. On a positive note, both gentleman were extremely nice and respectful and possibly were just rushing to get my job accomplished in a day?

The guy seemed very nice when I spoke to him on the phone, I received estimates, and we had made arrangements. We're getting ready to move to North Carolina, so I wanted someone to paint that home. I gave him all of the dimensions and he provided me with one price over the phone. Once my husband went to that home, and the owner of the company showed up, and then he ended up quoting him $1,000 more than what we agreed upon over the phone. My husband ended up having to find another company to hire. Once we let him know we didn't need his services, he gave us an attitude. I would definitely not recommend him.

Dan and his assistant was on time and very professional. Was able to give an estimate over the phone and based on his good reviews on AL, I decided I would go with him. I told him I would do all of the prep work and purchase all the paint so that all he would have to do is come and do the actual painting. Once he and his assistant arrived, there were a couple things that I had missed and they pointed out and I am glad they did so that the finished project looked professional. He finished the project in the time he said he would and did a very good job in covering cabinets and other surfaces so that there was no splatter. Dan was kind enough to come back out a week later as I was not happy with two of the walls (I am a complete perfectionist and there was some lint in the paint from a different roller he used) so he rolled those out quickly for me and now all the walls are perfect. I am glad I hired Dan to get the results that only a true professional painter can give a wall -- looks much better than any wall I have ever painted! And he is super-fast yet thorough with his roller! I recommend him highly.

They started off by power washing the deck and will complete when the deck dries. They are very punctual and very professional. The price is reasonable. I've used them before to paint the living room, foyer and den. I am very pleased with them.

It went great from start to finish. Dan is always on time, professional and leaves everything clean. He is also a very nice person. Next he will be painting my great room, dining room and hallways and closing off an opening in one of the bedrooms. The work he has done so far looks great.

I called and made an appointment with Dan and he showed up exactly as scheduled. We walked the house and he gave me an estimate to do the work immediately. He was able to start the work shortly thereafter. He gave us an estimate that it would take 4 days to do the work. After he had started we went to him because we wanted to do something different with our gas fireplace. He made a couple of suggestions and we all decided that a faux limestone would look best. This added a extra day to the completion of the project. They cleaned up after themselves every day. We enjoyed working with them and have recommended this company to our friends since we used them.

Dan did not have the lowest estimate but since I liked the examples of his work, I decided to go with his company. He was able to come down a bit on his cost estimate to match the lowest bid. He was right on time for the estimate and was right on time to do the work each day. There must have been a miscommunication as to what I wanted done but Dan was able to change the look of painting quickly and without complaint. The whole process took a portion of 3 days as each layer dried. Dan kept me informed about how long each process would take, when he would leave, and when he would return. Then disaster struck. Before Dan was able to put varnish on the finished product, my cats decided to add some antiquing of their own to both doors of the island. Dan was initially a bit dismayed when he saw their handiwork but was able to fix the damage. I have to say he does a much better job than my cats. The island is beautiful.

Beautifully. Dan even washed the windows before painting. They also fixed a wobbly railing on the front steps. This is the 2nd time they have worked at our house & their work is careful and well done. They are pleasant, prompt, and clean up beautifully when finished.

Excellent! Dan came the day after I called, made an estimate and they started 2 days later. Prompt, pleasant, professional, did a great job. They cleaned up beautifully each day & finished the job in 2 short days -- including a couple of extra things Dan refused to charge for. We will soon need exterior trim repainted & rotted wood in dormers replaced and will definitely call them.

He responded quickly to coming out to give us an estimate. He was very prompt everyday, careful to cover our flooring, cleaning up behind himself and finished a few hours ahead of time. He did a very professional job, as our last paint job had bad roller marks and uneven patch places. His preparation and sanding the walls prior to starting the actual paint job made the job very professional. He did all the work himself - which I really liked.

Dan and his assistant did a very professional job, they arrived before 8:00 am every morning and worked diligently all through the day, and by cleaning up each evening left us with minimal disruption. We felt comfortable to leave them alone in our home. We are delighted with the work Dan has done and we plan to have him back in the future to do some additional work.

He did a great job. He was prompt. The work was done on time . The work was done excellently. He even removed all the hardware from the windows and replaced them when he was done! Super job!

This was an amazing experience. We were scheduled to go out of town for the week, and typically would not leave an individual in our home alone working. We gave him the key, my cell phone # and felt comfortable leaving Dan. It took him six days to complete our foyer which is two floors high, and did most of it while we were away. Prior to starting he brought over several designs/colors/finishes, for me to select from and painted several sample boards to choose from. He performed his work in a quite, non obtrusive manner. He covered floors and taped professionally. He cleaned up well afterwards. He even brought our garbage can up from the road, got the mail and paper. He is eager to please and takes great pride in his work. He has many talents that were not utilized in this particular job, however, should I need work done in the future, he is the one I will definitely call.

Mr. Corbett showed up on time and did an excellent job! Best experience we have ever had with a contractor! His attention to detail was great and he performed the work with no mess or clean up on our part. He was extremely professional and was very trustworthy. We left him with a key and left him in our home alone for most of the time. We would highly recommend him to all of our friends, neighbors and relatives! With painting quality makes all the difference and he did an outstanding job!

The man couldn't have been nicer. He was extremely cooperative. If we had any questions he made adjustments accordingly and was right on top of it. He was very thorough and was here before 8:00 every morning. The only way we knew he was here was the smell of paint (which, by the way, if you cut some strong onions in half and leave them out will take the smell of paint away). He is probably the nicest guy we've ever had do work for us. We are referring him to friends and recommend him without reservation.

We were very impressed with him. He showed up on time and completed the job quickly. Nice fellow too.

MR. CORBETT IS A BREATH OF FRESH AIR WHEN IT COMES TO PAINTERS IN THIS AREA. I HAD SEVERAL ESTIMATES AND EVEN HAD ONE COMPANY TELL THAT THE JOB WAS TOO SMALL. MR. CORBETT CAME IN ON TIME AND REASONABLY PRICED. HE EVEN WENT THE EXTRA MILE TO MAKE SURE THAT THE FOYER AND THE HALLWAY MATCHED. I WILL USE HIS SERVICES AGAIN IN THE FUTURE.
