Horrible contractor, Brian Burns. Did a poor job installing a door that led to the patio, bottom of door was hitting the floor frame. He told me it was normal, and that it would get better, to give it three days and if it was still bad he would come fix it. The 3 days passed and zero improvement. I called him and he said he'd come the next day at 4pm. The time came and went, no show. I called again, and after leaving a few voicemails at first, I finally got through. He made another excuse and said to call him the next day. That was the last time he answered my calls. I called the next day about 20 times, he never replied. He never came back and he never got in touch with me. I was forced to hire another contractor to fix his horrible job. So I sent him a letter via registered mail giving him the opportunity to make things right by reimbursing me the $600 I had paid him, and also covering the extra money I had to pay the second contractor to fix his mess. Again, he never replied. I gave him more than enough time. I have no idea if this has happened to anyone else but wanted to share this bad experience. The important thing is this: as bad as his work was, the worse part was him never coming back to fix it and ignoring my calls. There is hardly anything more unprofessional and disrespectful than that. My advice is, do not hire Brian Burns.
