They've done a pretty good job.

They were knowledgeable about what I needed. They didn't try to sell me the water softener; that was up to me. Their device would raise the pH level in it. I had a quote from another water service and they were about 1000 dollars more and they pushed the water softener on me, which I didn't particularly like.

Ken was most proficient in rerouting lines through the installed system to effect a no-smell, no hardness, TDS levels back to normal at the taps, showers, sinks, dish wsher, washing machine, etal. A true turn-key experience.

First, I can't say enough good things about Jeff Harliss and the office manager Pam. They are so awesome! When I first purchased my home 5 years ago I had American Water Service install a new water softener and two reverse-osmosis units. Unfortunately, because of the architecture we weren't able to tie the reverse osmosis unit into the upstairs refrigerator. Fast-forward to last week - Jeff had just returned from vacation and had a list of jobs lined up. They graciously worked my project in and quickly installed a high-quality water filter that remedied the situation instantly.

We had a very positive experience with American Water Service. Tim Connair called us back promptly, verified the problem the same day and did not try to sell us services we did not need. He provided us with detailed instructions on shocking our well prior to having the UV system installed and provided us with support, even after hours. We would highly recommend this company.

I contacted Tim Connair and he came out and tested our well water (our contractor recommended the test since iron is prevalent in our area). He submitted a written analysis and recommended the softener and filtration. He also offered us a UV filter as an additional option. He was clear that the UV filter (additional $850) was available but not essential to serve our needs. This was all done at no charge. We decided on the total package and Tim arranged the installation during the last week of construction on our new house. The installation was done on schedule. We were very pleased with the complete process and our contractor was impressed with their installation.

WE WERE VERY PLEASED. CALLS WERE RETURNED PROMPTLY, AND THEIR EXPLANATIONS OF THE WORK TO BE DONE WERE THOROUGH. AFTER THE INSTALLATION WAS COMPLETE THE INSTALLER REVIEWED THE OPERATION AND MAINTENANCE OF THE EQUIPMENT AND MADE RECOMMENDATIONS AS TO HOW AND WHERE SUPPLIES COULD BE OBTAINED AT A GOOD PRICE. THE INSTALLER ALSO TOOK THE TIME TO EXPLAIN THE DIFFERENCES WE WOULD EXPERIENCE AS A RESULT OF HAVING THE SOFTENED WATER, AND HE MADE SUGGESTIONS REGARDING THE IMPACT THIS WOULD HAVE ON OUR SHOWERS, WASHING MACHINES, ETC. THEY WERE ALSO VERY QUICK TO COME RIGHT BACK THE NEXT DAY TO DEAL WITH OUR ISSUE ABOUT THE WATER PRESSURE, AND EVEN PROVIDED AN ADDITIONAL EVALUATION OF THE EXISTING EQUIPMENT. IN TERMS OF HONESTY, IT IS WORTH NOTING THAT THEY TESTED OUR WATER FOR BACTERIA AND WERE FORTHRIGHT ENOUGH TO SAY THAT IT WAS FINE AND WOULDN'T REQUIRE A RELATIVELY EXPENSIVE FILTER.

VERY THOROUGH, EASY TO WORK WITH, GOOD EXPLANATIONS AND DID EVERYTHING THEY SAID THEY WOULD DO. I AM REALLY HAPPY WITH THEM

I GOT BIDS FROM AMERICAN WATER SERVICE AND ANOTHER POPULAR NATIONAL COMPANY. AMERICAN WATER SERVICE HAD A MORE EXTENSIVE RANGE OF PRODUCTS AND DID AN EXCELLENT JOB ANSWERING MY CONCERNS ABOUT THEIR PRODUCTS AND THE INSTALLATION. EVERYTHING WAS PROFESSIONALLY INSTALLED AND THEY ALSO HELPED BY SETTING UP THE INSPECTION APPOINTMENT WITH THE COUNTY. THEY EVEN GAVE ME A DISCOUNT (SOMETHING THE OTHER COMPANY REFUSED TO DO).

TIM CONNAIR DID FAR MORE THAN REQUIRED, EVEN PICKING UP EQUIPMENT AT THE STORE WHICH WE SHOULD HAVE BOUGHT (WE PAID HIM BACK). HE DID NOT PRESSURE US TO BUY ANYTHING and ANSWERED ALL QUESTIONS COMPLETELY. THE GUYS WHO INSTALLED THE EQUIPMENT WERE ALSO PROMPT, VERY POLITE and THOROUGH. THEY DID NOT CHARGE US TO UNINSTALL and REMOVE THE OLD EQUIPMENT AND LEFT THE CRAWL SPACE CLEANER THAN THEY FOUND IT. A VERY PLEASANT WAY TO GO THROUGH AN ICKY EXPERIENCE AND THE BILL WAS LESS THAN THEY HAD ESTIMATED.

HE WENT OUT OF HIS WAY TO GET TO US, HE SAYS OUR WATER IS FINE AND HE DIDN'T KNOW WHY IT DIDN'T FEEL "SOFT". WE DECIDED NOT TO GO WITH THEM DUE TO THE COST, AND WHEN WE CALLED TO LET THEM KNOW THEY WERE VERY NICE, CORDIAL AND TOLD US TO LET THEM KNOW IF THEY COULD HELP IN THE FUTURE.
