"We did honor the early termination of our service agreement with Village of Saint Andrews (VSA) per our contract. We have agreed on the amount of $4,612.68 overpaid by VSA. VSA was under construction during the term of our agreement; they consist of 4 unit ranch style condo buildings. When one unit would close, we were instructed by the head of the HOA to take all four units on in one building to receive landscape maintenance, under our contract at an additional $29.65 per month per unit. This is a very common practice in our industry as the HOA wants the uniformity and quality of the landscape maintenance throughout the community. Until that point, the landscape was maintained by the Developer/Builder's landscape contractor which was not us. We worked only for the VSA HOA. After we received the termination letter, we did a final audit on the account. It was at that time we found additional units that we had maintained that had not been billed for, they totaled $4,477.15. We also had one turf fertilizer application outside our agreement also approved by the HOA that had not been billed totaling $600.00. That leaves VSA a balanced owed to AA Tex Lawn of $564.47. We have been in business in this area family-owned and operated for 29 years without a single BBB or Angie's List complaint. We feel the basis for this complaint and the evaluation of our company is totally off base with reality. We hope with the power and integrity of Angie's List, this matter will be resolved.
