Our ac was an old unit but was working great besides it would randomly kick on and then back off a few seconds later. We called Travis Heat and Cooling, they came out and told us it was a bad starter/battery and that it was low on freon and needed recharged with stop leak, we agreed and had them do the maintenance on both of our ac units since the repair wasn't going to be that much. As soon as they left the problem continued, they came back the next day and then it was the thermostat they said, i was at work and questioned the tech if he was sure since the first diagnostic was wrong, he said 99%. Against my better judgment I agreed to replace it to just fix the problem. Guess what...didn't fix it, and he wired the thermostat wrong, the lead tech Kevin(who was the only bright spot with this company) had to come out and show him how to properly wire it. Tye problem persisted even after wiring the thermostat correctly, Kevin came back and he figured it out, it was a motherboard that was no longer available and recommended a new unit. He called the office and said Travis felt bad about the incorrect repairs and they would credit me for that off the new unit, he was given a price of $7800 for a Goodman unit and they would offer credit off of that price. After calling a couple of other ac companies I realize that unit should only be $5500. After numerous times of asking to speak to Travis and him texting me telling me he would call me he never has. This company charges people for unnecessary repairs, then over quotes to try to cover up their loss. Very dishonest and a cowardly boss who would even call his customers that have had numerous incorrect repairs. Mistakes happen, I get it, but own up to them and make them right.

They were on time and very friendly. There prices were low compared to other companies I used in the past. They got my outdoor coils cleaned and my drain line unclogged.

They told me that my coil was bad and tried to talk me into replacing the whole heat pump which is only 5 years old. I mentioned to the service tech that I was planning on moving soon and he recommended adding No Leak and Freon and told me that typlically last around 3 years. I immediately wondered why he was trying to sell me a new heat pump. I paid $658.52 for this service and within 3 weeks, my heat pump was out of freon. I talked to the owner of the company and told him that I wanted my money back and he said let me look in to it and call you back. He has never called me back. I then checked prices for other companies to replace the coil. Travis HVAC wanted to charge me $2800. I got it replace for $1900. I sent a message to the service manager of Travis HVAC stating that if they would replace the coil for $1900 minus the $700 they already charged me, they could replace the coil. They never responded.

Prompt. Good advice and work.

I received an estimate 2x from another HVAC company.  I was referred by a friend to Travis.  He came in and agreed that I needed a replacement unit, but he was well under the estimate from the larger HVAC company.  They came on the day as expected and service was completed same day. Technician was a little disorganized, but this in no way impacted the level of quality of service I received. Travis came back personally to inspect installation and review any issues before requesting payment.
I am very satisfied with the service and price.  I have had a whole summer of excellent air performance.

It was awesome. We have used him before for repairs. We called and within 3-4 days he came out when he said they would, performed service in a day, the price was reasonable, and he's even come back for a follow-up visit. We are going to hire him for air duct cleaning in the fall.

Came on a Sunday to fix our air conditioner. We have the original unit with the house. Everyone around us has had to replace their unit, but Travis has kept ours running. Had to order a part, but did something to keep it running in the meantime. Price is very reasonable, and response time is great.

We could not be any more pleased with the dealings we had with this company. We found that their price was very competitive to other businesses in our area. The guys who did the installation were very kind to us. They made sure everything worked the way it should before they left. We were told that if there were any problems to call them immediately and they would have someone right out to address the situation. We have had no problems with the new system at all.

I think they did a fantastic job on the installation. I liked that they used major brand systems in my home and it came with a long warranty which is a plus. I don't mind personally recommending them to neighbors. I thought they were nice people to have working in the home and got it done in a timely fashion.

They fixed it for $162 and my compressor wasn't out, and my air conditioner works fine.

GOOD. PLEASANT TO DEAL WITH. A LITTLE TRICKY TO NAIL DOWN THE SCHEDULING, BUT OVERALL A POSITIVE EXPERIENCE.

THE PRODUCT AND PRICE ARE GREAT (TRANE 3T A/C). I DID HAVE TROUBLE GETTING PHONE CALLS RETURNED. THE INSTALLATION WAS A BIT DIFFICULT BECAUSE THE OWNER WAS OFF-SITE WHEN HIS EMPLOYEE NEEDED HIM.
