I had used Ogle's Hardwood Flooring several years ago and did an excellent job. We had purchased a new home several months ago and needed hardwoods to replace carpet in one of bedrooms. The two installers came out and did a outstanding job. They knew that I was very chemical sensitive and took precautions that there would be no smell so I could breathe. Not only could I breath after the installation but everything was cleaned up and the hardwoods looked awesome. We still will need carpet removed upstairs and have hardwoods installed later. Thank you Mike and Carrie for keeping me informed and for the two awesome installers. I would highly recommend Ogle's Hardwood. The pricing is reasonable and the outcome of their work is perfection at it's best.

GREAT! Around 1500 sq feet of tear-out work which was done efficiently and as neatly as possible; was kept informed of all work as it was being done; workers quickly brought to my attention any changes or repairs that were needed based on what was found underneath carpeting/linoleum; they spent time walking on the floor checking for and repairing loose/squeaking boards prior to laying new floor; had a major surprise to find tile underneath linoleum in the kitchen and these guys did great with the extra work! Workers were efficient and polite! Floors are beautiful! Clean-up was excellent.

Very poor workmanship, sander marks, in floor poor finish. Not what was expected or promised. They had done some refinishing work for me a few years earlier which was excellent, but this was terrible. One worker has rude to my wife and drove over my natural area. they came back but the work was still poor.

I can't say enough good things about the team at Ogle's from Carrie who takes the phone calls, to Mike who provided the estimate, to the onsite floor refinishing team. The price was incredibly fair, the team was very prompt and thorough, and the job was done exactly as I requested in a timeframe that was more than acceptable. I would recommend Ogle's all day, every day! Thanks Ogle's for helping me put the finishing touches on my house so I can list it and hopefully sell very quickly! You're the best!

I received referral from Lumber Liquidators so my quote in based on the labor, furniture moving and subfloor repair. They arrived on time, worked tirelessly and completed on time. They moved furniture easily. Even when we met a few bumps and had to do some extra sanding, extra subfloor repair, power issues and alarming fire alarms, they were undaunted. The installation of my vinyl plank was excellent and the floor is beautiful.

The crew  arrived a day late, but they did come by at around 6:00 pm to tell me they had been delayed.   A few places they did not use the wood pieces from different boxes and the pattern looked a little repetitous, but it was put down well and the crew was extremely nice and they cleaned up nicely afterward.  The issue came when they installed the vinyl laminate in the basement.  They followed the directions on the box and did not put down an underlayment.  After a few months, moisture started to get on the concrete and it made the tile puff up in the middle.  It was like walking on pillows.  After going around and around with LL and Ogles, it was determined that LL would pay for the tile, since it was the instructions on the box that made the flooring defective.  A representative from Ogles (name withheld) was kind enough to keep me informed and to help lead me in the direction of what I needed to do to get the claim settled.  Mr. Ogle himself was extremely nice to work with, as well is his entire staff.

I would give them an A+. They were very good. It took them about 4 days to do the entire job. They were excellent at keeping the dust to a minim and they did an excellent clean-up work. I would recommend them in a heartbeat!

Ogle did an outstanding job.  On the main level, the new brazilian cherry had to be "feathered" into existing brazilian flooring in two different places.  It was perfectly blended, and the rest of the cherry installation, which included two closets, was virtually flawless.  The sanding was similarly expertly done, with no damage to the floor moldings, and included the work to fix blemishes and very small cracks in the original flooring installation.  Once 4 coats of various finishes were applied, the result was spectacular.  The floors look beautiful in every respect.
It was amazing to watch the installation of the solid wood brazilian cherry and the engineered hickory.  The installers were obviously highly experienced and knew exactly what they were doing.  The speed with which they installed both flooring jobs (one nailed and one glued) was incredible to watch.  They worked extremely hard, hardly taking any breaks and working long hours.  They were very detailed oriented and dedicated to doing a prefect job,   They were clearly and justifiably proud of their end product.
Ogle focuses primarily on installation, not tearout and replacement of subflooring, but they agreed to do this, and it was difficult since the original subflooring was glued, had to be cut carefully to not damage any joists, and split while being pried up.  It was done quickly and well, and was perfectly flat.
I doubt that we could find a company that would do a better job.  Better yet, their cost was reasonable, being in the middle of the range of estimates we received.

These guys did a great job from start to finish. The estimate was done and the work was performed all within the time frame promised. The company maintained contact with us throughout the process to let us know what to expect and how things were progressing. Individual teams of workers showed up on time and worked hard the entire time that they were here. One week later a crew came and move everything back in and the floors look great. We had a few items that needed touching up and they came immediately to do the work and then someone from the office called and emailed to make sure that everything was done to our satisfaction.

I contacted ogles to replace the dingy carpet in the family room with hardwood floors. They were able to find a great quality unfinished floor and apply a lacquer on it that matched the existing floor. What impressed me was the machine that they used to sand the floor. They have a sander which has a vacuum attached to it which greatly reduces the amount of dust. This was extremely important considering that i have two young children. Even after they applied the lacquer finish, the smell was not as abrasive as i would have thought. A great experience and I would recommend this company in the future.

The Ogle's crew arrived promptly at 8AM and began prepping. They organized the new materials and began tearing out the previous floors. They removed laminate from the kitchen, hardwood from the foyer, and carpet from the den. They inspected the subfloor and tested for moisture. There were a few shoddy spots that needed replacing. While two of the crew members stayed and started laying the floor, the other went to the store and purchased some plywood and materials to repair the subfloor. He brought back the receipt and I reimbursed him. There were some frustrating hiccups throughout the entire installation and I wish the the individual that came out to do the estimate would have been more knowledgeable. I think that the crew did the best they could, but we were left with gaps between the new floors and the door frames and more imperfections that I would have liked. The crew finished the job in a single day, working from 8AM to past 10PM. The big downside was that they were still cutting wood late on a school night. I worried about disturbing my neighbors, but it wasn't practial to stop them and tell them to come back the next day. I called the company and shared some critical feedback about the experience. The company was receptive to feedback and worked with me.
My complaints (in no particular order):

I felt that there was a significant communication barrier. This is a fairly large investment and I found it frustrating that I couldn't understand everything as clearly as I should.
The crew scratched my leather furniture, the door frame and damaged the seal on a doorway leading into the garage (where they moved the furniture while they worked). *The company removed the $125 fee from the invoice after I spoke with them.
Also while moving the furniture, the door leading to the garage swung open and put a hole in the drywall. *The company had someone come out to repair and paint the wall (no charge).
I found trash, including nails, plastic, and wood scraps in my yard the next morning.
We're pleased with the way the floors turned out, but there were a few too many bumps along the way.

Everything went excellent.  They repaired the under flooring perfectly.  They did an excellent job.  There was a small problem with a squeak in the floor, and they came back immediately.  They went under the house and fixed that.  We had a problem when they were using their power equipment, as in certain areas our power went off.  We had an electrician come out and he noticed that when they were doing saw underneath to remove the carpet, they had cut a wire.  When we called, the Ogle's and we told them about it, the lady said she would speak to Mr. Ogle.  She called back and we were really surprised.  She said this happened two weeks ago in another house.  She admitted that and that was as ethical as it could be.  She said that they gave him x amount of dollars to cover the electrician and they would do the same to us.  They did it. Then they had a person come home to check their work and everything, while they were doing it.  We were really pleased with them.  It's just a fact that they made a mistake, and when they made the mistake, they were quick to justify it.  What was really good was in the floor that they had to come back and take care of the squeak.  It really wasn't what they had done; but evidently, when they did it, it loosened something else that they still fixed it and didn't charge for it.  We couldn't have asked for more.  I think the price was good, considering that they had to cut out flooring and replace flooring in four places before they could put the actual flooring.  They did that and they did that perfectly.  Everything is great.  First day, they were supposed to be here by 8 – 8.30.  They called up and said they would be 45 minutes late, and they didn't get here until 11.  Then the next day, they were supposed to be here again at the same time 8 – 8.30, and they came around 9.30.  They were meticulous.  These were the people who spoke Portuguese.  First, I was a little afraid of because I didn't know if they would be professional; but they were so professional that they wanted to make sure things were done perfectly.

Installed three rooms of hardwood floor that I had bought.  So in this job, they only did the installation.  I had removed the carpet and the wood was prefinished.  They were punctual and efficient.  Seemed to know what they were doing.  Had all the tools they needed.I have some wood left over and will use them again to do my foyer and staircase.
