James did a great job repairing soffits where raccoons were getting in. Job was more complicated than first thought, but he honored his quote, and even cleaned a gutter and blew the leaves off my deck at no charge. Highly recommend!

When you first meet James, you can't help but like him. Life changed and I needed a ramp into the house for my daughter's new motorized wheelchair. James was the first person to come to my home and his estimate fell within the range of costs. He told me that the ramp should have handrails to provide safety for my daughter and make it easier for anyone following her up the ramp and into the house. James has extraordinary experience which helped me because I have never before made my house wheelchair accessible. I would love to find a thousand superlatives to describe James' work. He focused on safety, functionality, durability and beauty. Recently, another handyman visited my house to seek any home project and he remarked on the high quality and beauty of the ramp. I can see that James takes immense pride in his work. I only wish that I could give James two 5-star reviews for his hard work to show my appreciation for his talent. Mr. Leak knows his business. He is a straight- shooter and as honest as the day is long. He saved me a ton of money by fixing the ACTUAL problem, not the easily sold ( but unneeded) more expensive fix. Heâ s the kind of person you always hope to hire but rarely find. I immediately booked him for several large projects, including a kitchen makeover.

They did an amazing job and worked hard, and the quality was really good and very pleasant to work with.

James and crew did repairs of wood rot around our gutters and soffits. They then painted the house trim and gutters. A little pricey but the job was well done and hopefully will hold up 10+ years! James was an excellent communicator and did what he said he would do. Cleanup after was impeccable.

One of the companies that was furnishing the lumber sent some lumber that was not up to scale so he had them pick it up and take it back. He got some lumber that w was higher quality. His workmanship was very good, class one job. I appreciate it.

I donâ t like giving 5-Star reviews for any business or contractor because not everything done with project is perfect. There is always something like a late arrival, or a surprise with the final bill, something in the work crewâ s courtesy and professionalism, or a problem with the workmanship. Yet when none of that happens, then a 5-star evaluation is not only required but well deserved. My project was small potatoes for most contractors: I had four pieces of fascia blow off during a high wind event and a set of sliding closet doors giving my spouse fits. I didnâ t think Iâ d get any responses to my request but James with Lex Contracting 247 responded pretty quickly that evening . James was on time, kept me in the loop, and really knocked it out of park for me. You know how, when in the midst of a project, the contractor approaches with an unknown problem? Sometimes, the problem is legit, sometimes it isnâ t. I did not have that experience at all. James was very straightforward in his approach and workmanship. Words can't express how happy I am with the project that was completed by Lex's contractor. The professionalism was absolutely amazing. After getting serval quotes from other contractors which I felt was very over priced. I meet with the owner of Lex contractor. Without him knowing what other contractors had quoted me in came in looked at the project and quoted me a price. It was no where near what the other contractors had quoted me. I signed a contract with him he gave me a start date and a finished date. The project was completed as he promised even though it would rained and the project was outside he still held to his promise and completed the project.
