Overall, Jim was a very slow worker. I am so relieved that he is off my property now. However, I was his first customer in his new venture. For the most part, I can say that Jim did a good job; however, he made some bad judgments along the way. Jim decided that my Arizona Blue Cypress needed to be pruned, so he pruned the bottom limbs. This conifer should never be trimmed this way, and he did it without my permission. At the final invoicing, I asked for a $100 credit for this mistake, and Jim allowed this. Overall, Jim was a good workman, although he made decisions on my property that were inappropriate. In other words, he took over too much control. I hope that he has learned not to do this but to consult the owner of the property. I am concerned that Jim is not really cut out to do this work; he performed more like do-it-yourselfer than a professional. Jim worked 1pm - 5 or 6pm regularly, which meant that the project dragged on for a long time.

"I WAS WARNED NOT TO ACCEPT WORK FROM ONE OF YOUR SUBSCRIBERS BY SEVERAL SUBCONTRACTORS AS SHE WAS A" LITTLE"ODD. SHE SEEMED FINE TO ME AT FIRST, BUT THE LONGER I WAS THERE THE MORE I UNDERSTOOD WHAT THEY MEANT. THE WOMAN IS A FULL-FLEDGED PARANOID SCHIZOPHRENIC WHO WAS ALLOWED TO FABRICATE LIES ABOUT MYSELF AND MY WORK. MY WORK IS IMPECCABLE AND I STAND BEHIND IT 100%. MAYBE MY ONLY FAULT IS THAT I AM TOO MUCH OF A PERFECTIONIST. I KNOW FOR A FACT THAT MY FEES ARE LOWER THAN MOST OTHER SUBS IN THE SAME BUSINESS AND THE QUALITY OF MY WORK IS VASTLY BETTER. I MIGHT TAKE A LITTLE LONGER TO COMPLETE THE JOB THAN OTHERS WHO CUT CORNERS TO SAVE A DIME OR BECAUSE THEY ARE JUST PLAIN LAZY BUT I TAKE PRIDE IN MY CRAFT AND KNOWING THAT I HAVE DONE THE JOB RIGHT. I NEVER CONCLUDE A PROJECT UNTIL THE CLIENT IS COMPLETELY SATISFIED."
