This company is not worthy of your business. They put up my opener about two years ago, used my old wires and sensors from my old unit. Which now that I think about it they probably kept the new ones that came in my new opener box. But let's fast forward I called them out here recently because my door hasn't been going down they came out I explained what the door was doing. They only tighten the bolts it worked for a week or two. Called them again letting them know the problem still exists she told me I would be charged another fee just to come look at it again. I of course called different company one that believed me checked the sensors told me that the sensors and the wiring has been there for a long time replaced both, oiled my door, tracks, wheels and tighten chain. DON'T DO BUSINESS with DC

The technicians came and pressed all buttons (we did 5 times more than what they did) and said our garage doors not working and then said our board is gone without any evidence and we need to replace the board. That's it. No proper testing. All less than 5minutes. They want to pocket the money and they only accept payments via phone. It seems fishy. Don't trust them.

However, once we called to collect payment over the phone due to Covid 19, you threatened to leave a bad review if we made you pay. We will not give in to threats. Our technicians are experienced, professional and provide excellent service. We take pride in our technicians and customer service and do every thing we can to please our customers."

Company responded promptly. Sent repairman the next day. The price made me wish I had spoken with ore than one company, but it was too late.

Other than a new door, springs are the most costly repair for a garage and we completely understand it being upsetting. However, our pricing is usually a bit below market standards and you would have had a difficult time finding a company that would have charged you less."

They were on site quickly and replaced quickly as well. 5 Stars for promptness in and out. However, when I lookup what I should have paid, I think I paid more than double of what it should have cost. Home depot has these springs from $75-100 for a pair. Rollers are $25 for a box of 10! I was charged $20 for 2. I paid 440 for 1 spring and 2 rollers. Job took about 30 minutes. Estimated true cost: even if I double the cost of the spring, call it 100. The Rollers should have been 2.50 each so that's 5 dollars, again double that for 10. Labor at 65 an hour for the full hour. Total of $175. I paid $440

Our garage door opener was working sporadically so I called DC since they were local and had great reviews. Kelly answered the phone and I knew right away that I called the right company. We decided that, based on our openers age, a repair might not be the best course of action and replacement was the way to go. Imagine my delight when she said that they would rather have me buy the replacement opener because I could probably buy it for less money that they could sell me one. Found one I liked at Home Depot and Kelly arranged for installation the next day between 2-4pm. At 1:45 the next day I got a call to say the tech was on the way and at 2pm Tim arrived to do the work. Tim jumped right in and had the job completed faster than it would have taken me to read the instructions! Seriously he was tireless and never stopped once, the install was perfect and all the components communicated perfectly. Tim is a credit to DC and I would recommend him without a second thought. Besides, he is a Dolphin fan just like us! If you have any garage door problems of any kind please do yourself a favor and call DC Garage Doors and ask for Tim.

Prompt, professional and reasonably priced. My garage door spring broke the previous night, called DC Garage Door Services at 8:30 am the next day and it was fixed by 10 am. EXCELLENT SERVICE! I highly recommend them.

The technician gave a quote of $550 to repair. I watched while he put the door back together and the only new parts that were used was 3 or 4 screws the rest of the cost was labor. The technician was at my home for 2 hours. The cost per hour was $250 and even used my ladder to repair. Scope of work was screwing the panel back together, taking the tension off the spring, reconnecting the cables, putting tension back on the spring, and straightening of a aluminum piece on the panel that the hinge came off of. If it were not the coldest day of the year and I could have gotten the door down, I would have declined the service. Part of the sales pitch was that he would have to rebuild the door from the top down so I was under the assumption that new parts would have to be used. The technician’s name was Gerard. He was super nice and he did get the door back together but no new parts and two hours labor for $550. Service fee was waived and he says he gave a 10% discount. Jessie James used a gun to rob folks. This was much nicer.

We explained to you that the repair would have been much cheaper had you not disassembled the door and attempted to fix it yourself. We did reassemble your entire door as you were quoted. We do not understand why you would think that would require any new parts other than fasteners and screws. The price you were charged was more than fair. Especially considering the additional 10% discount we gave you on top of the original 10% you were given by your technician after you called the office to complain. As you can see by every other review we’ve been given, we pride ourselves on fair pricing and customer satisfaction. We are very sorry that you feel you had a poor experience."

The first question I was asked when I called to request service was "Is everyone okay?" Just the start of a great experience with the company. My technician, Gerard, arrived within 2 hours of the call I placed even though we were certainly not an emergency situation. He was friendly, professional, skilled, and fast. He did not try to sell me any additional services or products (although I will certainly be contacting the office regarding additional services after this experience.) The new bracket was installed and arm reattached before I could even wonder about his progress. I highly recommend DC Garage Door services!

I strongly recommend David with D.C. Garage Door. I had called a technician from another large company to simply come and reprogram my old Wayne Dalton with a new code. He insisted the unit could not be reprogrammed due to missing pieces and said I needed a new unit for $350. He charged a service call, didn't oil my door or anything, and left. Not sure if this was a correct evaluation, I contacted D.C. Garage after seeing good reviews and seeing they are local. They communicated by e-mail very quickly, and after a few exchanges at night, we set up a time the next day for a technician to come. I got status calls throughout the afternoon. David greeted me with an introduction and handshake, came in, saw my unit indeed was old but did not have missing pieces, reprogrammed everything including my vehicle, tested it several times, oiled my door to reduce noise, and said to contact him any time day or night should my opener stop working but not to worry with the cost and replacement right now since the door worked well. David was courteous to me and to my family, very communicative of what he was doing and how he was doing it, and pleasant. The fee was minimal, and I am so grateful that I got a second opinion. David with D.C. Garage really saved me a serious headache and gave me peace of mind. I would recommend him highly.

Outstanding! Exceptionally satisfied with the work performed and highly recommend them! The installer was very professional, courteous, professional and the charge was reasonably priced. They were very accomodating and I was able to schedule the repair at a time that was convenient with my schedule. After the work was completed the garage door is quieter now quieter than before the repair.

Great. I priced a comparable standard door(16x7) at Lowe's and Home Depot. DC's price for a larger, better quality custom size door (16X8 )was less than the standard door price of the others. Mickie kept me informed on each step of the process. Scheduling around my travels. Finding every possible discount. The installer was very friendly, professional, courteous and most importantly knowledgeable and experienced. They matched color, trim and inserts with our other door that is 15 years old. The new door is quieter, more sturdy and better insulated. When it is time to replace our other door, I will not hesitate to call.

The gentleman that came out was wonderful! The quick fix didn't quite work out as there was trouble with the tension which created issues with the cables on the pullies. Repair guy was a trooper and finally got it all taken care of. Kudos to you!!!!

FANTASTIC! The company owners were SO kind. First they helped diagnose the problem over the phone! Then, once we figured out what was wrong, they actually pulled a fabulous guy, Rocky, off another job (empty house) to come fix my garage at 7 PM!

DC Garage Door Services replaced a broken spring last March. We were happy with the work, but we've been having some trouble lately, so we called them back yesterday. Turns out the original tech installed an incorrect size, which was causing the issues. They installed a new spring at no charge. We were impressed that they corrected the mistake with no argument.
On both visits, the technicians were on time and professional.
We recommend them and would definitely use them again. They are a reliable and honest company!
