Terrible, terrible company. Purchased tub from them that was installed improperly and caused massive water damage to ceiling below. They came out and fixed the tub drain and builder fixed the ceiling. We have now been in the house 18 months and the drain is broken. Even though it is a known issue with the tub and they worked on the drain previously (possibly incorrectly), they will not even come out to look at it because it has been over a year. Use at own risk. They do not stand by the work they do, even if there is a known issue popping up again.
Response from CNT Plumbing, Inc.
"Mr. [Member Name Removed], I'd like to clarify several issues with your review. You purchased a new home from a reputable local builder and closed on 4/24/19. You did not purchase a tub from CNT Plumbing, Inc. CNT Plumbing, Inc. provided and installed the product specified by the builder. In June 2019, we responded to a warranty service call due to a manufacturers defect at the drain. In October 2019, the builder and our technician responded to a water leak in the separate shower which was determined to be due to a void between the trim plate and the tile. There were some water spots on the ceiling which the builder repaired after we re-sealed the caulk around the void. Our warranty coverage is one year from date of closing. You closed on your home on 4/24/19; therefore when you called our office, we referred you to a "service based" plumbing company as your home is outside the warranty time period. The problem was described as the pop up drain the tub wouldn't stay down. We were told at that time "it's worked for two years but it (the pop-up drain) won't stay down now." We provided the name of a "service based" plumbing company as our business is to provide and install plumbing for builders and/or contractors. You contacted the company we referred you to and to the best of our knowledge, charged you $200 for the repair. When you contacted our office AFTER the plumbing company came out and left, our employee went above and beyond trying to assist you. You sent him pictures of the drain which clearly indicate someone had damaged the drain and left marks indictive of a pair of channel locks being used. We did not cause the damage shown in the pictures which you sent to our office. Our employee was polite, professional and at no time was disrespectful towards you. We spoke with your builder yesterday and explained your situation. It is our understanding that you have spoken with your builder since you called our office yesterday. We suggest you contact your builder for resolution."
