Was so sad to lose 2 Bradford Pears on my front lawn in the last storm. Called a few tree services and Les with Branch Out actually returned the call. He came out promptly, discussed if anything was salvage-able (no,,,but I kinda knew that). Given that one tree was in the other, he was able to arrange to get to me as quickly as possible...and he did. These guys worked all day, cleaned up everything, and the result with the stump grinding was best as could be expected. Also took a couple of limbs off another tree. Totally professional. I would (and will) hire Branch Out again!

Great! Les and his crew thinned out these two trees that were located close to the road and to my neighbors property. The crew worked safely and efficiently without any damage to our neighbors' property or our property. Branch Out crew cleaned up our yard including sweeping the driveway and road where they loaded the tree branches onto their trunk. Les and his team were professional and completed the job as promised. Les came out and gave us a free estimate beforehand and completed the job a couple of days later! This company is recommended by others on my subdivision's Facebook page. We had lower estimates but the ratings were not as high as the ones for Branch Out.

I was so impressed. They came with all the top notch equipment. There were 5 men and they were in and out in about 2 hours. They cleaned up everything. They blew out the driveway and the surrounding areas. They were very polite. I was extremely impressed with this company. The owner is a real gentlemen and easy to work with.

To understand how happy we were with the work done by Les and his crew, I have to explain how disappointed we were by some of the other tree removal services who gave us quotes. We got seven quotes for this project. The project was complicated: remove a large (120 foot plus) sick oak tree located next to our chain link fence; remove a small cluster of large (100 foot) beechnut trees located next to our house; remove a cedar tree located next to our house. The job was made more complicated by the location of our in-ground pool, which is immediately next to the beechnut trees. The entire pool area is surrounded by landscaping and flower beds and metal trellises. In short, there was a lot to work around.
We had put off having this work done because we knew the job was going to be complicated, and the reactions of most of the men who came to give us quotes immediately reinforced that belief. Two men told me that they couldn?t promise to not damage the fence severely enough to require professional repair or replacement of some of the panels. But the oak tree wasn?t the hard part. That was beechnut trees. One man groaned out loud when he looked at the beechnut trees. I joked, ?So you think we should just move instead of taking these down?? He didn?t laugh. Another man told me that he wouldn?t take them down and, instead, gave me a quote for heavily pruning them back, which was not the work we were looking to have done. (He also told me ? a woman ? that he would be glad to talk to my husband about any questions he had. What a poor choice of words on his part because it cost him the job since I was the one getting the quotes and making this decision.) Three men explained that they would likely severely damage all of the landscaping next to the pool and around the beechnut trees. Now, on the other side of the beechnut trees (not the pool side), there is a gravel pathway large enough to fit a vehicle and certainly large enough to use as a work space, but these men explained that the cost of labor of working around the flowerbeds (rather than on and through them) would be high.
Now, here?s what these men didn?t know: when we purchased this house seven years ago, the back yard had been neglected for the previous half dozen years. Aside from some large trees that had been planted by the first owners of the home decades ago, there was nothing but clay, weeds, and a lot of potential. I?ve spent the last six year hauling bags of everything imaginable to amend the soil, planting, pruning, water, fertilizing, and ? while it isn?t exactly what I envision yet, it is starting to look like actual landscaping. I am not paying someone to destroy years? worth of work. I accepted that there would be some damage, but I was not willing to start over in that whole large area when destroying all the plantings there was not an inevitable necessity but a choice.
Les was one of two men (the other was Tim Young?s Tree Service) who seemed confident that they could remove the trees without damaging our fence or landscaping. These were also the two men who took the least amount of time to give me a quote. They came in, looked at the trees, asked a few questions, and gave me a readable, straight forward estimate that was
reasonable. Tree removal isn?t cheap, but a few of the quotes we received were twice what Les and Tim Young estimated. Les also impressed me when he pointed at the plantings immediately at the base of the trees and confirmed that I understood that those would be damaged. He didn?t point at the whole area around the pool. When it comes down to hiring someone, I prefer to work with people who will bring the least amount of drama with them. I have enough drama to deal with in my professional life, and I don?t need to pay someone to bring it into my home. Les struck me as a no bull sh*t kind of person, and that?s what I look for when I have a choice about with whom to work. Because of a cancellation, he was also able to work our job in quickly, and so we picked him.
Les was easy to work with. I called, told him we wanted the work done, and after a couple of short rounds of phone tag, everything was scheduled for a two-day tree removal marathon. We were worried that the noise would frighten one of our dogs, and we were able to get them into a boarding kennel for one of those two days. Les accommodated us by working on the trees closer to the house on that first day when the dogs were gone. We are grateful for that.
My husband and I decided to work from home during these two days because we were both a little worried about those beechnut trees and the chance of a limb coming down on our house. We?ve put a lot of work and money into fixing up our home, and we felt a little anxious on that first morning. I was also nervous about the landscaping. As we saw how Les and his crew worked, we were quickly put at ease. And then it was just fun. Every time I went downstairs for another cup of coffee, I looked out the window and saw what progress these guys were making. When I heard a big thud, I would walk to the window and look out to see another huge limb removed. If it can be fun to watch other people get the job you?ve been dreading getting done for years done?then, yes, it was.
Les and his crew of half a dozen guys showed up on time both days. The worked through the day with only a lunch break. On the first day, during which they tackled the beechnut trees, they worked almost until sun down. And these guys WORKED HARD. Unlike the men who said their crews would drop the limbs on the landscaping, Les and his guys dropped the limbs on the gravel driveway and rolled and dragged the debris around the landscaping and pool ? we are so grateful for their effort. I didn?t expect these guys to be an old ladies? gardening club and watch out for each and every hosta and lily, but to a higher degree than I expected, these guys respected our plantings.
When the trees were removed, Les and his crew cleaned up those areas. The men who said they couldn?t take the oak tree down without damaging our fence should learn from Les. A limb did bend one of the chain link panels?and it took a couple of minutes and a pair of pliers to bend those couple of links back into place. That?s it! That?s nothing! As for the landscaping, the men who said that they couldn?t do this job without destroying the landscaping need to learn from Les. There are a few plants adjacent to where the guys were working near the beechnut trees that look ratty, but they?ll be good-as-new next spring. A couple of shrubs and a vine might need replaced come fall, but they might bounce back with some TLC this summer. But that?s it! That?s nothing!
When Les and his crew had left after the second day, I made a cocktail, sat out on the deck, looked at the results of
their hard work, and laughed at myself for putting this job off for so many years. We truly thought this was going to be an expensive disaster, and it was the exact opposite thanks to Les and his crew. We no longer worry that the sick oak tree will fall on our house in a storm. Now that the beechnut trees are gone, our pool is warmer than it has ever been -- after only a week of sun! And because our property is wooded, we are both glad to have Les?s number in our cell phones for the next tree job or emergency. We would hire him again or recommend him and his crew without hesitation. It is rare that I don?t get
multiple quotes for any job, but next time we need tree work, we?ll just call Les.

As we live on a golf course, the job of removing an Oak tree that was so tall, close to the golf cart path and other trees and shrubs, was a risky proposition! We called Branch Out Tree Service, as we had used them several times in the past and knew of their expertise and experience. We would not trust anyone else to do this job. They showed up on time, with their massive equipment and went right to work. The job took from about 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.! Everything went extremely well, every trace of the tree gone, even the stump ground -- and their cleanup job is extraordinary. We will definitely continue to use Branch Out in the future.

We had to have a lot of trees removed in order to have a new septic drain fill installed. Les and his crew did another amazing and professional job. The septic contractor is here today and asked who did our tree work. He was extremely complimentary of the work that Les and his guys had done. Said it was the best he had seen. Thanks Les for another greatob!

Branch Out moves in like an occupying force with multiple vehicles and manpower. Each guy in the crew of about 6 had a role and they worked very efficiently. I was also impressed by their work ethic. The situation was unusual in that the trees were making contact so Les and his team were extremely deliberate and thoughtful in their approach. so cut and removed two large shrubs.

It turned out really well and we are going to give them a call back to get some more work done. He was very friendly and told me why he did certain things and why he did not do others. They took a lot of time to explain what they were going to do and made sure before he left that I was satisfied they did. It took me a little time to get hold of them; I had to call them a couple of times. The final cost was the same as the estimate. Their price was very reasonable and comparable to other prices I got.

Les was great. He was prompt and professional, and provided us with a fair estimate to do the job. His crew arrived on time and worked incredibly fast to remove not only the fallen tree, but also some branches from another affected tree. They hauled everything up to our driveway and mulched it so we could use it in our gardens. We were very pleased with their service and would hire them again in a second. Thanks again!

Les and his crew arrived at 9:00a.m. and worked until 3:30p.m.. They cut down 15 Leland Cypress trees that were over 25 ft high lining the back of our property line and one that was between our house and our neighbors. They did a great job being careful not to cause any property damage. The stumps were ground down and all areas were cleaned up. We would gladly recommend Les and his crew to anyone needing tree service.
