Harold was excellent to work with and did a great job installing cabinets, sink, countertop and microwave. Reliable and ethical. Always on time and cleaned up every day. Good communication and excellent attention to detail. Would definitely hire again. Highly recommend!

Cabinets, Countertops and Backsplash

I turned out awesome! It looks great, the kitchen needed an update, he finsihed it in a week, which was earlier than expected. Very, very pleased with everything.

Contacted Harold and emailed measurements and pictures of the job to get a rough quote.

This was helpful as I did not have to wait for him to come out and possibly waste his or my time to get a quote

After getting a couple other quotes, I decided to go with this company.

Harold came out again to do the template measurements and collect 50% deposit.

Less than a week later he came back and installed the countertops. They look great.

Another positive:

The kitchen had a corner sink base, and the size of the sink base made putting a double bowl sink challenging.

Harold had no problems scooping the sides of the cabinets to fit the double bowl sink.

Everything was cleaned up after the job.

Will use Harold again on another project.

He was very kind and his work was top notch. My husband was very particular about how he wanted the corners done and even drew it on the wall, Harold made sure it was exactly how we wanted but made sure to give us his opinion on what would look good.

After another vendor told me they couldn't fit me in for a week, I called Harold with American Cabinetry based off their Angie's List reviews. Although it was short notice and a VERY small job, Harold said he could come out right away. He arrived within 30 minutes and assessed the situation. The counter top (the laminate and the counter top itself) had separated from the island cabinetry, but the counter top was still intact (undamaged). Without trying to up-sell me, Harold said he could reattach it for the minimal trip charge, $50... saving me from having to go a week with no counter top on the island. He was quickly able to reattach it securely. After the work was finished, I asked him about some options for refinishing or resurfacing when we decide to do that and he gave me some good ideas and ball park pricing.

Harold did an awesome job! His quoted price was lower than another quote I had gotten, yet the work he did was A+++. He really paid a lot of attention to detail and made sure everything was just right. One of my cabinets was pulling away from the wall, which I was not aware of, and he repaired that while he was refacing it (no extra charge). One of the new doors had a hairline crack in it that I would not have noticed right away, but he arranged to have it returned and replaced, again no extra charge. The only negative is that now my cabinets look so much better than the rest of my kitchen that I am going to have to consider replacing the countertops too. I will definitely have Harold do that work too if I decide to have it done.

I was referred to American Cabinetry by two other counter top replacement companies who did not provide laminate services. The work was very well done.

Harold arrived on time and was very professional. He gave me a estimate that was in line with other estimates I had received. I gave him a deposit to replace both kitchen counter tops and bathroom vanity. He called when materials arrived (within 2 weeks/ as he had said) and we set up time to install. Once again he arrived on time to complete both jobs....they look wonderful! He did such a good job my husband asked him to also come back to do a backsplash. I can't tell you how much I am impressed with this gentleman and his work. He listened to what I wanted (instead of trying to tell me what I wanted), gave wonderful advice and is a great craftsman. He is very detailed and works extremely hard. I live in a 1960's house; things in this house are built to stay..he chugged through it all(bless you Harold). My kitchen and bath look brand new. My neighbors have also hired him to remodel their bathroom. I would not hesitate to call him again. Thank you Harold!
