A-PRO LAWN CARE

I found that A-Pro's care of our lawn was average. The installation of French drains was only so-so, b/c they did not install the drain pipe far enough toward the front yard to drain the low-lying area adequately. We stopped using them back in 2008 since my husband lost his job. I called the owner of A-Pro, Jim Radtke, more recently (spring 2010) to ask for tall trees and shrubs around our front windows needed trimming. It took him until the end of August to do that trimming. I thought he had forgotten altogether. But - my poor review is colored by what happened with A-Pro more recently (over summer 2010). When good friends bought a house in our neighborhood (River Run), we gave them them the phone # and Jim Radtke's name (the co-owner). Jim proceeded to ruin their lawn with faulty irrigation when he was hired to irrigate / care for lawn until they moved into the house. I am angry and embarrassed that I ever passed his name on to my friends.

We were very happy with the original work performed by A-Pro. They completed a beautiful and creative landscape for us as well as installed irrigation system and landscape lighting. However, after the initial install, we began to have trouble with maintenance of several aspects of care. The crew would show up fairly regularly, however -- they were not able to resolve any issues with anything other than the grass. For instance, if the mowers ran over a sprinkler pipe and it broke, we would have to wait a while before someone else in the company could be sent out to repair the damage. The landscape lights that were initially beautiful have NEVER worked consistently and have been very expensive to replace bulbs,etc.

PROMPT, PROFESSIONAL, COURTEOUS- JUST FANTASTIC.
