Billington Painting

Description of Work: Painted a laundry room and a bedroom. Also painted some trim on outside for two garage doors and a sliding patio door.

Description of Work: I got some interior painting done because I had no clue how to do it. He let me watch and ask questions. He told me what tools I would need in the future if I wanted to do some painting. He even gave me some tricks of the trade like taking the light switch/outlet covers off instead of taping them off. He gave me a fair price, showed up on time and got the job done.

Description of Work: refinish front door-paint interior ceiling

Description of Work: We needed the inside of our home painted quickly and professionally, as our jobs require significant entertaining. The house is very old and has textured plaster walls. The trim was already painted, and the ceiling has an old fashioned painting rail (for hanging paintings from the ceiling rather than putting nails in the walls), which the crew had to paint up to, but not over. Billington Painting arrived with a large crew at the designated time, with the appropriate equipment and paint to do the job. We had asked for four major rooms downstairs (living room, kitchen, dining room and family room), plus the front entryway and a full bathroom. The entryway includes a staircase that has walls open to two stories, requiring working on a ladder on the stairs with a long handled brush. Upstairs, they were contracted to do three bedrooms. On the second day, I requested a quote to do a second full bathroom. Steve and his crew were able to complete the additional work during their visit, without a fuss or requiring additional time. All of the rooms, except the kitchen, have hardwood floors and are full of furniture. Steve volunteered to move the furniture and arrived with covers to protect the floors. Light switch plates and electrical outlet plates were removed and replaced upon completion of the job.
