It took over two weeks during the winter with two separate snow storms passing through for my schedule to finally line up with the hours the company would allow a technician to schedule.  At this point, my electric bill was almost double the usual rate as the broken heat pump system struggled to keep the house warm.  The second installation went well, but was completely unnecessary if the first installation was successful.  The unwillingness of the company to be flexible with scheduling an appointment was frustrating, and the representative on the phone was unhelpful.  Overall, I was dissatisfied with their service, felt slighted as a customer, and was left frustrated about missing time from work and having an excessive utility bill.

Arrived on time, explained everything as he check things out and replaced the capacitor quickly and correctly.

One of my heat pumps that Jones and Jones originally installed in my house in 2010 stopped blowing warm air. Since I was just outside my one year no hassle warranty but still had my 5 year parts warranty I decided to call them back to fix it. I live in Harnett county so I was told there would be an additional charge to come out that far even though they say they cover that area. The service tech arrived on time and after a little over an hour was able to determine that the thermostat had failed and was causing the problem. He had a basic Honeywell thermostat to install which had their company name and phone number printed on it. He said it would be $100.00 for the thermostat, and that it was of better quality than the ones that they originally installed when the system was first put in. I asked if it was covered with the 5 year parts warranty. He said no that the thermostat is separate from the heat pump. When it was all said and done it cost me a little over $350.00 for the travel fee, the labor, and the thermostat. As he left, he told me I should try to find a closer service provider.

They are very good people. They were honest and fair.

Professional process overall; responsive scheduling, they showed when they said they would, they properly diagnosed the problem, and repaired it as advertised. I wish they would have laid out the costs and the options better.

They gave us helpful hints on keep the air conditioner running smoothly and how to keep certain parts of it clean. They checked the pipes and showed us how to back wash if we had to and what to watch out for. They made sure everything was up to code with the heater and there are no problems.
