I am having an inground salt water pool and spa being constructed in the backyard. I stated "having" because it's going on 6+ months with the pool contractor we hired out of Apex, NC to complete the job he was paid to do. Still waiting...... Anyways, I called Mr. James Blandford on 20 April to have the pool cleaned. He came out the very same day and preformed the job. He went above and beyond by showing both my husband and I, what the contractor needed to fix. They are easy fixings however, important fixes, that if not done correctly could cost thousands out of our pockets in the future. I called Mr. Blanford once again to have the pool salted and once again, he showed up the same day with all supplies in hand and and preformed the job. This man is a very positive, kind and reputable person. Hands down, if you are needing any pool work, this is your guy!

The work was done as promised and at the price quoted. The work was very professional and we are very pleased with the results.

James Blandford knows how to do business. I first hired him to close the pool, but he noticed a couple things wrong (which he took the time to show me and explain everything to me). After the parts came in, he fixed them. I ordered a new liner with him. He definitely looks out for the best interest of the customer, which is how all businesses should be. He's very friendly and always makes sure any questions you have are answered. I will be using him for all of my pool needs.

Mr. Blandford made an appointment for 2 or 3 days from the time I called him, which was fine with me. Then, a few hours later, he called me back and said he had some time and would I want him to come that day? That was great. He was very courteous and knowledgeable. Showed me everything he was doing. I will call him again next year.

He was prompt and well prepared and I would use him again.  Excellent service.

This is the second time I've used Mr. Blandford.  Both times I called in the morning and he was able to fit me in the same day (very fortunate, as I know he has long/busy days!).  He arrived right when he said he would, had all the tools/parts needed, worked diligently to replace my motor, and had it fixed and working very quickly.  I greatly appreciate the professionalism and overall service Mr. Blandford provides and will continue to use him for my pool needs!  Highly recommend to others!

Mr. Blandford drained my pool and patches tears in my vinyl liner. While he was in the process of the repair I noticed a sprinkler pipe was leaking he promptly helped me shut the water off and volunteered to fix it at no charge if I went to get the part at Low's. In addition, he uncovered a GFI that quit working in my outlets for the pool. Mr. Blandford gave me a number to an electrician that was able to come out that day to fix the problem. He was a pleasant, knowledgable gentleman who returned all of my calls promptly and returned to clean the pool after I was done filling it. I will contact Mr. Blandford in the future should the need arise, and recommend him to my friends.

Absolutely great!  A friend had recommended him, then I saw his good reviews on Angie's List, so I called him. Mr. Blandford promptly returned my phone call this morning and was able to fit me into his busy schedule today.  He was very professional, knew exactly what the problem was, and was able to fix it very quickly.  Would definitely use again for any pool issues and recommend him to others needing help!

 when he finished, he discovered that the scimmerwalve had pinhole in it.he came back the next day with all the parts

 and fixed it ,even we did not have an appmt.

Mr. Blanford has been my mainstay in maintaining my first swimming pool. He has passed on his knowledge and experience and guidance in pool maintenance, replacing pool pump and installing mesh pool cover. He is highly professional, courteous, and stays until the job is done. Excellent work!

Mr. Blandford was recommended to me by another business.  He came when he said he would, measured the pool, ordered the liner and installed it with a crew of two additional people.  The liner fit perfectly and looks beautiful.  He and his crew were very professional and courteous the entire job.  The job was done on schedule.  He did add the price of foam ($200) to cover some of the pools metal frame after the original estimate/contract, but he explained why it was needed, and my wife and I fully accepted the explanation.  We are thrilled with his work and have enjoyed the pool all summer.
