Weed Man - S Wake, Durham, Orange & Chatham Co

We have been using Weed Man for our yard for a year and a half. The first year was fine, but in the last six months, we've seen weeds popping up all over the yard and have had to call for extra treatment several times. Weeds go away then pop up again a month later, so it seems they don't continue to monitor unless we complain. In the last several months, I believe they have stopped spraying the back yard. It is completely over run with weeds and we haven't seen any weeds die even after Weed Man claimed they sprayed it again, and the yard continues to look worse and worse. I have called them four times in the last week and emailed them many more times and no one returns my calls or has been to my house to look at the weeds or treat anything. I highly recommend you look elsewhere for your lawn care, it certainly couldn't be any worse than Weed Man.

They've been trying to do this service for about 5 years. The actual quality of the work was very poor. They made mistakes that resulting in killing half my lawn and when they replaced it with sod, that died as well. They weren't ever rude to me, even when I discontinued my service, but I felt like there was never any good that came of their service to my lawn.

They are great. They do what they say. I look at my neighbor’s lawn and mine is markedly better. I don't have the weeds that they do. The price, for what they do, I would say is an 'A' because it is not a lot of money and they do a good job. There have been some incidents where there was miscommunication but they always fixed it. I have used them for years and I don't think I would change.

They got grass to grow in the shade. My yard looks so good that several neighbors are using them too. They are just as happy.

Original contact was through Groupon for $121.00 per visit. Each visit included weed control and fertilizer for approximatly 29,000 sq. feet. Initial contact was excellent. Company came as scheduled for the first several visits. Had some communication and responsivness issues with the last service visit. Weedman has corrected the issues to my satisfaction and I will continue the service.

They have always come as promised, did the work efficiently, left us information with tips for mowing, other seasonal issues. We have drought resistant Zoysia grass that is relatively new (second year since planting) and it has done very well as it gets established. The lawn looks great. They also did aeration on the yard that was a seperate fee. They were careful to inform us about yard prep- watering- if it didn't rain before the scheduled aeration. We are happy with their service and it was easy to decide to renew with them for another year.
