Terminix

I didn't get them from Angie's List. I don't only use them for pest control, I use them for other services as well, like termite control. I'm happy with some of their services and not happy about others.

I was a Terminix customer for many years. I had a serious sugar ant problem, having tried to treat it myself. Finally, enough was enough and we signed a year contract with Terminix. They underpromised and overdelivered, for sure. The man who was assigned to our account told us on the first visit that he would do his best to knock out the ants in the first year, but with the nests so well established (basically every ant within a mile had our address as the posh place to live,) that we may not see eradication until the second year. The way the work is there are four established treatments, but if you see ant trails forming in between treatments, you call your assigned worker, and they come out, as much as it needed. That first summer, our guy must have come out four extra times from our calls. He even gave us his cell phone number. It was great to always have the same person for our account. By that fall, I stopped seeing ants inside the home. Gone. Then the rats started to appear, and our guy set a lot of traps, and soon, we started seeing less and less of the rats in our garage. I would have stayed with Terminix this year but they really raised their prices. It's too bad that a loyal customer like myself goes from paying $400 a year, to being asked to pay $650 a year! That is why I give a D on price. Otherwise, whatever chemical they use, it works, and I didn't ever smell it, nor did it bother my senses. I have a two year old granddaughter who lives with me, and we would keep her in during the days of the treatment, and happy to say it was never an issue to her health.

I've had Terminix for years.  They come out every three months.  Things went good with them.
