The wait time was about 5 minutes.

My daughter has moved to a different area now. They were very good. It took 2 or 3 minutes to be seen. They have very personal care and very good with difficult animals. They seem to have everything going well.

Excellent.

The convenience was we were already patients, the one inconvenience was they require a fecal matter test, which cost more, but they did it while they were boarded.

They helped us out and got the issue taken care of. Typically, I can get in and out quickly.

As usual, Dr. Snyder gave us great advice on the treatment of one of Marco's small growths.
I have been taking Marco to Hemlock Bluffs since the Wake County SPCA recommended them after I adopted Marco in 2008. The only time he wasn't in their care was the two years that I lived in Maryland. Since moving back, I've been happy to continue my treatment with them. It is obvious they care greatly for the health of your pet. Every aspect of their service has been high quality, above board, and without hidden charges. I haven't shopped around for prices, and quality care has been expensive at times, but I've never been dissatisfied with the results. They have seen Marco through knee ligament injury, back pain and cancerous growth removals.
The staff are all courteous, professional, and show great care and concern for your pets.

Even though they were booked, they fit him in the same day I called. They took excellent care of him and kept me updated every step of the way. He was a very happy boy when I picked him up. Every person I dealt with was professional, courteous and great with my dog. They took their time to explain things and answer my questions as well. I highly recommend them.

The appointment started on time, the tech and vet were extremely friendly and really seemed to care about my dog. I didn't feel like another number. And not a lot of waiting, while the tests were running, the vet was in talking to us. By the time she was done, the tests were done. Nice job!

I liked them and the only reason I didn't go back to them was because they were a little far away from me. I really liked Dr Shaylene. She did a bunch of tests which I thought was good. She would take the time to explain everything and make sure you are happy. She is great. It was just a little bit further than I needed. I am thinking of driving a little bit further to go to her.

This has always been an excellent veterinarian for my dog. We have used them since moving to the area about 3 years ago and have always received excellent services. The staff and Doctors are very professional and friendly. One can tell that they are passionate about their patients and love what they are doing.

We found Hemlock Bluffs AH after extensive websearching of local vets. We picked them because 1) they had the right size - not solo and not big group, 2) Dr. Midkiff did accupuncture that we have known helped other dogs and 3) they were relatively new and therefore, not too busy. We have now had 3 appointments with Drs. Midkiff (2 visits) and Snyder (1 visit) and each has been very helpful, professional, and unrushed. They are a pleasure to talk to and are very knowledgeable about our breed's (Bichon frise) health problems and training challenges. Even though we had a Bichon for 18 years before (who saw lots of specialty vets), we learned some new things about Bichons from the HBAH vets. The staff of 3 is very friendly and professional. After each of the vaccination visits, the office called the next day to check to see how our puppy had reacted. We feel very lucky to have found this group!

Recently my cat had a serious dental condition, a dislocated hip and a rare skin condition. Her treatment(s) were complicated by her age and previous thyroid and heart conditions. Dr. Snyder referred us to a specialist for hip surgery and to another specialty clinic for care when her overall condition became critical and she needed inpatient care. Throughout the entire course of treatment (several weeks), Dr. Snyder continued to take an active role, consulting with the other veterinarians and with other specialists and following up with me daily. I don't know anyone who has had that much hands-on personal attention from their human doctor.
