This bathroom remodel went well.  It went slightly over time budgeted; however, that was to be expected given the scope of the project and the fact that all work was done by third parties instead of the GC (Dave).  Dave ensured everything was cleaned every day someone was on site.  He also laid a walkway of paper from the front door to the "construction site" which was much appreciated.  While my vision was an odd one, Dave listened and found the right people for the job.  When he had questions, he asked.  Communication was excellent and there was no doubt that, when the job was completed, it would be done right.

We met Dave at Parade of Homes last fall in one of the homes he built.  We asked him if he would be willing to build a custom house with our plans.  He quickly responded with a quote with which we were satisfied.  He estimated our home would be built in four months,and four after beginning the project we were able to move in!

Dave Weiss (President, CRB) and his crew did an excellent job with this remodeling project.  CRB normally only builds new homes.  However, with the sluggish economy, they have augmented their work to include remodels.  I cannot praise Dave and his crews enough for the fantastic job they did with this space. Dave is very easy to work with and he listens.  We discussed what I wanted to accomplish in this space and gave suggestions on the best way to achieve that goal.  During the remodeling process, some changes needed to be made (mostly with the configuration of the bathroom space).  The changes were performed with ease.  Overall, the finished project made maximum use of the available space and turned out better than I anticipated.  All of the people who worked on this project were prompt, courteous and professional. Workers cleaned up after themselves each day and did their best to minimize disruption to our normal routines (e.g., when walls had to be opened in other areas of the house to install the plumbing). 
I highly recommend CRB to anyone who is looking to remodel or build a new home.  Their work is top-flight and their prices are the best I found (I had one lower bidder, but I was not confident I was going to get the project completed the way I wanted it done.  All other bids were significantly higher than CRB).
