Chris'S Quality Carpentry & Concrete

He is a very nice guy. I can't say enough good about Chris's Gutters. We've used him 5 or 6 times, and every time we used him, he is conscientious, does very good work, and he doesn't cost an arm and a leg. He shows up when he said he's going to, and sometimes he comes by to make sure that the repairs were working correctly. He fixes it for free if it's not working right. He's the best! He's why we would go to Angie's List. He is the man. His price is reasonable. He came out and fixed stuff, and didn't get paid for it. He came out when I needed him. I use him all the time.

The quality of work was good.
The job took longer than estimated.
The cost exceeded estimate by a large amount for less work than estimated.
Difficult to understand.
Crew damaged downstairs ceiling, repair still not completed at this time.
Final invoice in dispute - contractor seems inflexible and unwilling to explain reasons for overage.

I met with Chris Stevens and he reviewed the needed repairs and provided the estimated cost for the complete job. He and his team completed the work in a timely fashion. His work was thorough and neat. He kept me informed of his progress and any new items that needed attention. The repair work that was completed include: repair and painting for two window trim areas, replacement and painting for a roof vent, and repair and painting for some exterior siding and trim. The work completed was on the high side of our home and require his team to work on fifty foot ladders. I thought he did a great job and I would use him for future work.

The project was done on a Friday and the tearing out of the old sidewalk was very tough but they did it manually to keep costs down and hauled off the old concrete.  They put forms in to insure that it was level and matched the original curved walk.  They spent 3 hours finishing the concrete so that it was smooth and properly set.  They will return on Monday to pull out the forms.  Chris and his crew were excellent throughout the project.
