ASAP got me out of a huge jam. whilst trying to replace a CPU fan/heat sink, I managed to rip the CPU out of its socket, and in doing so, managed to bend about a quarter of the pins on it. these pins are incredibly small, so I was not able to straighten them out. well, to make a long story short, I took the whole computer over to ASAP and for a very reasonable fee, they were able to get the pins on the CPU straitened out and them install it and the new fan/heat sink. I would recommend anyone with a damaged computer to go to ASAP.

Am very satified. This was the third repair shop that I had visited. The first one at Cary Town Center really had poor customer service. They didn't have the specialized glass needed, but never ordered anything for me. They just said, and quot;Try calling again in 3 weeks.and quot; I did that. Nothing. They even asked me to call the manager (weird). He said that the glass I needed was hard to get ahold of, and it might be several months. Tried another shop that eventually found itself at the pointy end of a state lawsuit. ASAP Computers was my third try. They were great. They set clear expectations on both time to repair and pricing. They were easily able to order the specialized glass, and my phone was fixed as soon as the glass arrived (about four days). Once the glass had arrived, the phone was fixed the next business day.
