Anj Kitchens & Refacing

Install was Ok, except counter top was left out of plumb. We had to call Steve to come back and correct the problem which he did following week. One month after Steve completed the installation we noticed that the vinyl used on the cabinets was starting to bubble and pull away from the edge of one of the cabinets. We promptly texted Steve on February 21 including photos of the area in question. Steve replied that he was out of state and would take a look at the problem when he returned. We have not been able to reach Steve since February 21, despite leaving many voice mails and text messages. He does not reply. We have a 5 year warranty on the product which appears to be useless if the provider does not respond to issues with the product he is selling.

The result was better than I had expected. My husband and I are so very pleased with how both vanities look now - better than we could have imagined. Steve was great from the very first call. He promptly called me back and kept checking in with me to let me know when he was coming over as well as the status of the order. We couldn't even get other companies to return our first call!! Steve and his assistant Keanu were both professional and meticulous in their workmanship. I would highly recommend them without any reservation!

EXCELLENT work! Steve really knows his business and we were more than happy with his work, his attitude, his punctuality and professionalism.  The cabinets that he re-faced were old and very dated looking. Now, they look like brand new! His price is excellent and he was on the job in speedy time.
We will definitely use Steve again in the future! He's the BEST!

Steve came on time, and started that job without delay. The workmanship is excellent. It looks like we had the cabinets removed and replaced with new ones. The workman are pleasant and neat. i am so happy we pick this company to do the work.

I contacted several providers to consider refacing my master bathroom cabinets. Steve came to my house and offered the best combination of price/quality. One thing to note is that some providers will tout their real wood cabinets versus ANJ which uses a laminate product but there are pros and cons to each of these. We chose the laminate because it won't warp or rot and was warrantied for 5 years by ANJ I think. Also even though our house is a custom home it had laminate cabinets in it and you really can't notice a difference.
Anyway there is some lead time once you place the order with ANJ for them to get in the color and style you need. It was a couple of weeks but not really a big deal. Once Steve from ANJ and his partner arrived at my home they carefully replaced the cabinet faces and all faces of the cabinets to what we had selected. He was very professional and had a meticulous attention to detail.
Steve is honest and hardworking. I would definitely use him again for similar jobs and have had no issues since he refaced my cabinets a couple of months ago. BTW, Steve also improved some issues with my original cabinet installation as part of the job. Just an excellent provider.

Steve did a fabulous job! He refaced our cabinets, added door end caps, changed an older style lazy susan, added soft close hinges and installed new handles. I'm so glad I listened to his color suggestion; it was perfect. He and his son were punctual, professional, and a pleasure to work with. They arrived on time, worked efficiently, and cleaned up at the end of each day. I couldn't be happier! Every time I walk into the kitchen I still can't believe how beautiful it looks. The only thing I regret is not doing it sooner.

I could not ask for a better experience.  They were on time every day and cleaned everything up each nite.  The end work surpassed my expectations.  My cabinets look about a million times better.  The additional drawers and the pullouts gave me so much more space.  Our original builder went bankrupt and really cheaped out on our kitchen.  Now my cabinets look professional and finished.  The doors open like they are supposed to and the finish is beautiful.  I HIGHLY recommend ANJ and will use them in the future

Steve, the owner of ANJ stopped by first to discuss the project with us.  He gave us some great ideas about colors, styles and details. He had lots of suggestions that just made the final product look attractive and professionally done. After we made our decisions, the main project took about a week. Then they made sure that all the details were finished, which took another few visits.
Steve and his team were always prompt, polite and cleaned up each evening before leaving.
We enjoyed this project with ANJ and would definitely work with them again.

It went great!.  I choose KNJ due to Angie's List reviews and we had a great experience.  Our cabinets were in reasonable condition but were poorly installed.  Steve and Jeremy fixed any issues then refinished.  It's like a brand new kitchen and only took about 3 1/2 days.  New cabinets would have been over $20k but we got a new kitchen for $7k.  If you're not changing the design and your cabinets are in reasonable condition KNJ can make it new.

I couldn't be happier.  When we moved to this town home, I knew we'd need kitchen work done.  I had gotten one other quote and ANJ's quote came in well under the first one.  Having worked with Steve on the last house, it was a happy process to work with him again.

• He brought samples of cabinet doors and sample of colors to choose from
• He understood my goals and provided ideas/suggestions to meet them.
• He set a realistic date for installation and the work WAS done on that schedule.

Steven and his son do really great work and it was really nice not having a salesman and then a different crew to do the work.  They do all the work themselves and did a fantastic job.  The price seemed pretty steep but it's pretty much the going rate and the end results were worth it.  The new doors are good quality and the veneering looks almost as good as factory cabinets.  It looks like a brand new kitchen.  They took care of the house and cleaned up after themselves each day. Very happy to work with these guys and I was very satisfied.

He was very professional and helpful in solving other issues - enclosing refridgerator, redoing cabinet countertop in living room and suggesting colors/finishes.

Steve came a couple of weeks before to give me an estimate. He was very thorough and his estimate exactly matched the final cost. He give me some great advice on choosing cabinet colors and new laminate countertop colors.
Steve and his team came out a couple of weeks later and installed new cabinet doors and new counter tops. He also expanded my kitchen island that still allows for good flow in the kitchen. Additionally he remodeled the cabinets above the stove to allow for installation of an over-the-range microwave. At the end of each day his team cleaned up and did all they could to make the kitchen as usable as possible during the job. They finished all work in three days. I was quite pleased with their work and I would definitely hire them in the future for other remodeling work.
