I got an estimate for $1,165 for movement of my fence. $965 was for movement and $200 was to dig up the dirt on the front of the fence. Work was done no dirt was dug up. Still charge $1,165. The guy doing the estimate was rude and is a total scammer. Ripped me off for $200. Kept telling me I signed a contract but never provided me a copy. STAY away from this company, THEY WILL RIP YOU OFF!!!!!!!!! SHOULD HAVE READ THE OTHER REVIEWS, leason learned.

Extremely unproffesional. They came and went as they pleased, didn't use enough cement for the posts, didn't use the correct requested board widths and the gate was very poorly built and fortified. We were overcharged, and the owner himself came to correct the bill, and did so after raising his voice to me, cursing at me, and tossing the new bill wrinkled, torn, and scribbled on.In the four years we lived at the residence we had to repair the fence many times.I would NOT reccommend Andy's to anyone.

The person who gave the initial estimate was very knowledgeable and thorough. I did not like the gate itself, but everything else was good.

They did a fantastic job. Their price was excellent. I would highly recommend them.

In July of 2010 Andy's son Jason came out to our house to give us an estimate on a four foot picket fence to enclose our back yard. At the time, we talked to him about the possibility of one side butting up to our neighbors fence (they were about to install a six foot fence) and he assured us that would lower the price of the fence. Mid August I called Andy's Fence to schedule an installation date. They were about a month behind (Jason had told us at the time of the estimate they were two weeks behind) so our start of installation was set for September 13, 2010. I also informed them that we would be butting up to our neighbor's fence thus eliminating the need of one whole side. As requested by Andy's Fence, I obtained the town's required fence permit and had the utility lines marked for digging.
Two of Andy's workers showed up and installed all of the posts the morning of Monday September 13th. Having been told at the time of the estimate that they let the posts set three to four days before completing the project, I expected Andy's to be back Thursday or Friday to finish the fence. After no one showed up or called the rest of the week I called them the following Monday morning. The secretary didn't have the schedule with her at that moment but promised to call me back. After not hearing from them by Tuesday morning I again called to get an answer. I was told we were scheduled for Wednesday or Thursday of that week. Both Wednesday and Thursday came and went without any work on the fence and without a phone call from the company. Thursday night (September 23rd) I called and left a message at their office stating we no longer wanted their services and requested they bill us for the services they had already performed. I also invited them to call me if they had any questions. No communication from them and nine days later (Saturday October 2nd) two workers show up to work on the fence. By this time it had been almost three weeks since the posts had been installed and we had already begun completing the fence ourselves. We turned down their services and they left.
October 7th we received a bill in the mail from Andy's Fence for the full original estimated amount. This original amount included all four sides of the fence (of which Jason assured us would be less if we butted up to our neighbor's fence). Interestingly the bill was dated for September 22nd, the day before we canceled services with them and stated legal action would be taken if not paid within 30 days of the printed date. Assuming this had to be some sort of processing mistake I called Andy's Fence to talk to Jason and clear up the misunderstanding. After calmly explaining the situation and politely asking for an adjusted bill, Jason told me our bill was correct and that if I had issues with it I would have to talk to his dad/the owner - Andy. After trying to contact Andy several times that day he called me back the following Monday, October 11th. He was polite at the start of the conversation but became very rude after I started to explain our situation. In short he told me we were under verbal contract (we never signed anything with them) and that if we didn't pay within 30 days he would take us to court. After telling him he would be losing customers, he told me if they were customers like me he didn't want them.
At this point I pulled my husband, who was deployed at the time, into the situation. He e-mailed Andy's Fence assuring them that we wanted to pay them for the labor and materials they had invested into the job, we only wanted a fair price. Andy responded that he had the right to charge us up to three times the actual cost of the project because we had "broken" contract with them. They gave no consideration to the fact that they had "broken" contract with us by not finishing our fence in the promised time frame.
Mid November I was served papers from Andy's Fence suing us for the full original estimated amount of the fence. After getting a continuance to delay the hearing until my husband could be present, we finally settled with Andy's Fence in court in May 2011. Andy, the owner showed up for the hearing but did not have his facts straight and was rather unprepared. In the end we ended up paying $670 for 27 fence posts and less then eight hours of labor, plus $100 in court fees. Andy's Fence was suing us for almost $1900.
I have never dealt with as horrible of a business and this. They are polite and understanding in the beginning to get business but as soon as they feel they have you hooked they no longer care. They lie to and belittle their customers. The stress and tears they caused me over a stupid fence was outright ridiculous and outrageous. DO NOT use this company. It is worth a little extra money to go with a company that is polite, understanding and respectful to their customers from beginning to end.

They were very fast, proficient and so far it has just been a great job. I had a tree fall on my fence and they came out within a week of me telling them and patched hole without any problem and did not even charging me for it. I spent about $3000 for the fence to be put up for about an acre of land. Their quote was the best that I got.

The fence got done in a timely manner and we were pleased with the state the yard was left in (only a few strips of nails to clean up this time). About a month later, April 7, 2010 (to be exact), my husband let Bella and Gizmo out before we left for work. At 0630 he went to put stuff in the truck and he saw Bella sitting in the front yard. He put her in the house and saw the gate was open. He went over and closed it then went to look for Gizmo. When he closed the gate he noticed that the latches were not lined up so the fence didn't secure properly. A couple weeks before this he had noticed the gate was open and thought someone had opened it, but now he knew it was due to the latched being put on without being matched up. Back to Gizmo...My husband searched the neighborhood but had to take the baby and leave for work, so I took over the search. After 30 minutes of searching, I had to head to work so I asked the neighbor to put her in his garage if he saw her. About a mile into my morning drive I found her. She was on the side of the road, she had been hit by a car. I called Andy's Fence, not looking for money or sympathy, but simply to let them know that their fence had failed to serve its purpose; keep my dogs safe. I asked for Andy because I was hoping to have someone redo the latches so they closed properly and hopefully get him to have his guys double check their work when they finished up so this wouldn't happen again. When I got on the phone with Andy, the owner, he was quite possibly the most unprofessional individual I have ever had to deal with. He kept cutting me off and informed me numerous times that "Hun, you need to make sure you shut your gate" and "Hun you have to shut your gate just like you would shut the door on your house." He then informed me it was not his fault my dogs got out and I needed to "learn how to shut my gate." After a few minutes of being treated like I was an idiot I told him that I would like to have someone come and fix the gate. He told me he would personally do it so he could show me how to shut the gate. He told me he needed to check his schedule, put me on hold and then his secretary picked up and told me he would come out Tues (this call was made Thurs.) I called my husband and told him how he acted and then he called Andy. He got the same treatment for most of the conversation that I recieved. My husband told him it was any easy fix, just move the ltach and Andy asked how come he doesn't just fix it. My husband replied with "We paid you to do it, so we expect it done." When I got home Friday (April 9) from work my husband told me that someone must have stopped by today, fixed the latch and left, all without letting my husband know they were there. I will never do business with this company again due to their lack of professionalism, attention to detail and tact. I will never recommend Andy's to anyone.
