GRANT TEXACO

I brought my car to Grant's Texaco due to my brakes going out! I have been going there since late November to early December in 2010, for brake problems on my vehicle!  I went there because I have been dealing with them for about 4 years & never had a problem! Also, what they charge for labor is  extremely cheaper than anywhere else! Well for some reason I noticed the first time I took it there for this problem I felt I wasn't getting the same service as I used to get! They have new mechanics working there & to be honest the new ones don't seem to know what they are really doing! They look like they are either still in high school or just got out of high school!  Since then I have been back there numerous times for same problem! I have done spent almost $1,000 or more on getting my brakes fixed! Each time it seems to be the same problem, & each time I have to pay for them to fix the same problem! They supposedly fixed my whole entire back brakes, & emergency brake system! Well, for the past few months I have been still having problems with my brakes where they act like they don't want to stop like they are supposed to! Today my husband was driving my car & ended up in a finder binder because the brakes wouldn't stop! He stated that he had them all the way down & they still would not stop! I contacted them to inform them that this had happen & they stated there is nothing they can do unless I give them more money! I stated that I shouldn't have to pay nothing for something that they did! They then stated that that is my problem then! That they will not work on my brakes or anything to my car! So I took my  car to another mechanic shop to find out what the problem was! Come to find out that half of the pieces on my brakes where missing! Which included the whole entire adjustment pieces, & other pieces! Which without the adjustment pieces this could be extremely dangerous & the mechanic stated that I am very lucky that no one got hurt or anything serious happen! The new mechanic stated that also it is Grant's responsibly to fix this & replace everything without charging me! I informed Grant of this & they told me that they are not responsible & will not fix anything without me paying them more money! So to all who live in Hobbsville, NC or in Gates County NC or surrounding areas beware of Grant's Texaco! Service there is horrible! Prices might be reasonable, but the service & all you get is not!
