Now that Angieslist exists and I've finally joined (because of another horrible remodel project gone really, *really* wrong with a provider who had gotten an F already on Angieslist; seriously, people: it is *so* worth going with someone proven, respected and tested), I wanted to pass on their professionalism to anyone nervous to make the leap. She's not the cheapest out there, but the quality is so, so worth it.
great attention to detail, and are excellent at solving all problems that arise in a project as varied as mine was. It seemed like every day something unexpected showed up in my older home that needed a creative solution on the spot. They always came up with something that not only worked, but worked well and looked great.
It was nice to find out that no job is too small for them, as I have had them back several times for things as small as replacing light bulbs in my motion lights and as big as re-securing my home after a break-in.
I'm sure one could always find a lower price for a project, but in my opinion, TaraMar's prices are more than fair for the top-notch work they do and the peace of mind that comes with knowing everything will be handled competently.
I never worry about them being in my home when I'm away. I've even been out of town a few times when they worked for me.
I give them 6 stars out of 5 and the only reason I would ever use anyone else is if they moved away!
Suzie advised me concerning what needed to be done to properly stage my house and yard for a quick sale. I decided to go for it and Suzie and I went shopping for faucets, fixtures, paint, carpet... She even advised me to get a project card at Lowes so I could enjoy a bigger discount on all of my purchases. AWESOME! Suzie also knew the manager at Lowes because she did so much business with him when she flipped a house, so the manager helped with everything from picking the best to getting the best price. Without Suzie my costs would have been 20% higher.
Taramar also worked as my contractor for the fixes that Suzie felt would be better done by someone else. For instance, installing the tile is better when someone who does it all the time does it. It's faster and better looking. The painting was less expensive using someone who paints all of the time because they are able to work faster and do a better job. The electrical upgrades were done by a certified electrician. The cleaning of the back yard was done by a waste disposal company who managed to hall 8 dump truck loads of yard refuse out of the back yard.
Once the house was ready for sale our Realtor was very impressed with the staging and the house sold within 8 days.
Taramar also took care of the fixes we needed done to our short sale house that we bought as is.
I will always go to Taramar for all of my home needs. Not only did they do a great job, but they also spoiled my dog and cat so that to this day when they come over my dog and cat run up to them for attention.
