RILEY'S HEATING & A/C INC

They were extremely anxious to make everything perfect. They came out and had the trane representative try to get rid of the noise during installation. They bent over backwards for us. The equipment they provided was excellent. We can certainly tell a difference. They provide good old fashioned service and want to provide the best service for their customers as well.

I called our HVAC service provider and asked him to come out and check our air conditioner unit because it had stopped cooling and the fan in the air handling unit in the attic was running contentiously.  He came out promptly and checked the Freon level in the outside unit and said it was fine and cleaned the coil.  I then asked him about the fan motor in the attic and he told me that he was not going in the attic.  He told me that it was too hot to go in the attic and that it would not hurt anything for the fan to run contentiously.  He told me to call him back in the fall and he would return and fix the unit.  I held my hand to one of the vents and the air coming out of it did not feel any cooler and I mentioned this to him and he said that my unit was doing all it could do.  So, after he departed the premises, I got out my own digital vent thermometer and checked the temperature of the air coming out of the vents and it was 87 degrees, which, even though I'm no expert on air conditioning, knew was wrong.   To say that we are very disappointed is an understatement, especially with the temps being in the triple digits.  I can understand why someone would not want to go into a hot attic but that is where part of the equipment is in many houses.  It would have been nice to have offered to return first thing in the morning before the temperature got too hot. 

I have known Tim for many years. His service has always been exceptional and this visit was no different. He came out and went right to work. He had the problem diagniosed and fixed within 1hr. As always, once finished Tim made certain everything was back in place and cleaned up. Tim is the only person I would trust with my Heat&A/C needs.

I thought the price was fair. The repairs have held up. They did a good job. They were prompt and efficient.

During an unusual "heat" wave in late Spring, I discovered that my air conditioning unit was not working. Since it was fairly new, I attempted to contact the contractor that had installed the unit and learned that he had recently gone out of business. That is when I turned to Angies List and found Riley's Heating and Cooling near my home. When I contacted Mr. Riley he told me that he had received over 75 calls in the past few days but that he would get to me asap. We set a tentative time for two days out and he arrived to repair the unit as promised in spite of his huge work load. He was prompt and courteous and found the problem right away. He went out of his way to get the part replaced for me under warranty - which saved me over $200! Within three hours, my house was cooling off thanks to his great service.

Excellent! Mr. Riley was on time, thorough in his checking, and checked the air flow throughout the whole house. He went under the house to check the duct work as well. He explained the small part that needed to be replaced.

RILEY IS AN INDEPENDENT BUSINESSMAN, SO HE IS ALWAYS THOROUGH. HIS PRICES ARE VERY REASONABLE, AND HE IS VERY RESPONSIVE. IF WE HAVE A PROBLEM, HE GETS BACK TO US RIGHT AWAY AND TAKES CARE OF IT.
