The service was fast and professional. The salesperson (Jennifer) was very knowledgeable and gave us great advice in picking the right materials for us. The process was smooth, from picking the materials, to having the kitchen measured and getting everything installed on time.

Marble Unlimited has some very nice stone at what seems, compared to the box stores, to be reasonable prices. Their customer service leaves a lot to be desired.

Wonderful! No complaints! Daniel, Jennifer and their staff were all very professional, friendly and provided great customer service. It was a lot of fun picking out the granite slab that would be used. Our countertops are beautiful and enjoy them more each day. They did everything possible to make sure we were happy! Thanks Mable Unlimited!

Installers did a beautiful job.
Response from Marble Unlimited, Inc
"Thank you for the review. I noticed we got a B on price and punctuality and was not sure why as we gave the granite price at $29.95 per square foot even though you where out of area and did not live within 20 miles from us to qualify for this. We installed the job with in 10 days from measure."

1) Totally disorganized! The installers was scheduled on the wrong days despite me informing the company that I was going to be out of town, etc. on specific days.
2) Installed a defective granite top in the master bath. The owner did willingly replace it. However, the replacement top had the wrong edge. I did not order beveled. The owner Mike was yelling on the phone and informed me that I did not have a choice---- either keep the defective one or the beveled top. Mike stated that he was not going to lose money by cutting another top.  He indicated that I would get a $50 check if I kept the replacement one.  What that a fair compensation? It was obvious that his installers were embarrassed by Mike's unprofessional behavior.

We started this project in September 2011 and spent about four weeks researching counter top materials to find the one that we felt met our needs and budget. We had gone to the Southern Ideal Home Show, read articles on-line and in magazines, visited  four independent dealers and a couple of big box stores to educate ourselves on what is out there and get estimates. We settled on granite as the material for us.
We sought recommendations from friends who had recently completed similar projects and visited those who were recommended or those who impressed us at the show. After receiving about 6 bids we settled on Marble Unlimited because of the endorsement they received from friends of ours and their price was competitive.
After visiting aobut 6 different stone yards we came back to Marble Unlimited. They are a local independent dealer / installers and  had a good selection of granite in their yard, We worked mostly with Lindsay, Jennifer and Daniel. All were friendly, helpful  and knowledgeable.. They answered all our questions and provided some helpful suggestions, especially the back splash.
We were undecided what we wanted for a back splash. We had toured Parade of Homes houses and taken photos of back splashes we liked, but were undecided. We finally settled on an Italian subway tile with tumbled edges Daniel suggested we consider. After we found a bull nose trim at another store to provide a little "pop", we finally had the look we were seeking.
The install of both the counter tops and back splash went without a hitch. Daniel came to the house and took all the measurements and the special sink we had purchased on Amazon. Less than a seek later crew of two came and removed the old counter tops and installed and leveled the new ones in a few hours. I think it was about a week later another person came and installed the back splash. The project quote was received by us on October 18 and the project was completed and paid in full by November 7. Great service!
It is now about 18 months and we continue to enjoy the look and practicality our counter tops and back splash. The sealing of the back splash brought out all the beautiful subtle patterns in the marble. It looks new after 18 months of wear and tear (It is a working kitchen, we love to cook and entertain). The blemish we can report is the seam between the back splash and counter top. The material used to seal it has cracked and in some places fallen out. This is especially troublesome behind the kitchen faucet where water could go down behind the cabinet and soak the wall. I have have just contacted Marble Unlimited to bring this to their attention and see what resolution can be reached. I'm confident they will come through with an appropriate fix.
Other than that we love the job Marble Unlimited did and plan to use them when we redo the bathrooms.

I was shown through the marble yard by the owners and explained various levels and prices, etc. i was given several samples to take home. I settled on an amazing piece and recieved a wonderful deal bc there was so much in stock of that kind. I provided them a preliminary sketch provided by Lowes who designed and installed my new kitchen layout.) After I made my downpayment (1/2 of total), the owner came out for a final measurement and within a week had my counters. I literally could have had it sooner, but my sink was damaged and needed to be returned through the mail since i purchased it online (overstock expedited.) the men who showed up were professional and fast! I LOVE my granite! I have told several people about this company because i found that even though they were a smaller company, their stock was much more of a unique variety (as well as those staples that lowes, Home Depot and larger marble companies in Raleigh and Cary, marble unlimited had at better prices.) they were not pushy but very honest and made sure I was happy with my choice. I would gladly work with them again and once I get ready for bathroom rents, they will definitely do my counters for the vanities!

We bought Angie's Big Deal with these guys, so the price was right.
Based on the price, the selection of granite was limited, but we found
something we liked.  The initial install as done in a day, but the
finishing was sub-par.  When we called, they were very nice and said
they'd send someone to fix it and we scheduled a date and time.  The day
and time arrived, but they didn't.  Again, when I called, they were
extremely apologetic, waived part of the original fee, and promised to
have someone there the next day.  They showed up, fixed the problem, and
our bathrooms look great.
So it's not always doing it perfect
the first time, but how you respond when there's a mistake.  And they
responded appropriately.  Nice folks; would use them again.

Do make sure they come out to take an accurate template and not just ROUGH drawings.
Don't allow them to cut your granite without an accurate template.
They do have good pricing and a good selection.
Installers were nice and helpful.
Despite the fact that they did not template our job, they did attempt to make it right. We had to give a little to make it all work so job was not performed as it should have been.
Generally nice to work with but there was some stress when the granite did not install as they thought it would (again make sure they template).

Jennifer from Marble Unlimited & Cabinets, came to my house to measure and advise me as to what we could do in the kitchen.  She had some great ideas on how to install granite without replacing the backsplash, and how to make the countertop larger.  We then went to their location and looked at all the granite slabs.  They had an large inventory of granite slabs to choose from, and they are very reasonably priced.  After picking the slab we wanted, two employees came to the house to measure again and take out a cabinet that had to be cut down to support the thickness of the granite.  They thoroughly explained where the seams would be and how they would attach it to the existing backsplash.  Within one week the installers brought the granite out and installed it as well as putting the cabinet back.  It was all very efficient and turned out better than I expected.  Everyone comments on our beautiful granite.

We visited the showroom and liked their selection of (low-priced) granite available.  They were very helpful in showing us our options without being pushy.  I was pleased that even after we had signed the contract and paid the down-payment, they were still very good about answering any questions we had for them - they always responded quickly to any emails or phone calls.  And since this was our first time remodeling a kitchen, we had quite a few questions along the way.  Everyone that we worked with there was very professional and we are very happy with the countertops they installed and have no complaints at all.

I believe their business quality has changed from what I've heard in the past. . First, let me say the positives about what we've experienced. The countertops we've had installed are beautiful and the showroom with the different granites were pleasant to look at. Ok that's it, now the negatives. The wood inlays that were installed in the granite attach our dishwasher were not measured correctly so we can't use our dishwasher at the moment without it tipping over. To solve the issue they wanted to just drill into our granite to attach the dishwasher instead of properly attach it. They were supposed to do our back-splash as well, but after ripping the tiles off of our kitchen wall they decided to not accept ITEX anymore (a bartering service used to pay for services between companies which we had a contract with Marble Unlimited for) in the middle of our job and told us we'd have to have someone else complete the job because they "can cancel anyone's contract when they want". There are now huge holes in our drywall which now have to be fixed by another company and now we have to order tiles and have them installed when the job should have been completed by now. I've had other contractors look at the state our kitchen is in and say they've never seen so much damage left before. So, while their work may look nice on their posted pictures, their reliability and trust is much to be desired and you should seriously reconsider before accepting this company to remodel your home. .
Response from Marble Unlimited, Inc
"The member was not an Angie List customer but a barter customer. We were members of a barter network and stopped being members. The dishwasher she photographed is a standard dishwasher and if she looked up under the granite we in-layed a piece of wood into the bottom of the granite so that dishwasher needed to be screwed with the screws that came with it into the wood. The back splash she photographed was an existing tile back splash that she wanted out to be replaced and my installer for free removed it so that we could install the granite counter-tops. We did back out of installing the tile after realizing this customer would not be happy with anything we did and she wanted it installed in a time frame that we could not keep."
