Description of Work: This report describes work by Dovetail Construction (John Shonemann) that is ongoing, and is scheduled to finish in August; therefore it is a report-in-progress. However, I want to stress that I have been very impressed by John and company's high standards of professionalism, his willingness to adapt to changing circumstances, and his valuable and cost-saving suggestions for this rather large renovation. I have no reason to think that my high opinion of Dovetail will change; however, I will follow up on this report at the work's completion.

+ -1 moreThis job began on time and moved through every stage without a hitch--the subcontractors for the electric, roofing, and painting were unfailingly polite, client oriented, professional and skilled in their workmanship. Another contractor I used for a kitchen remodel, knew this contractor and couldn't say enough about the quality of his work and how easy he is to work with. My experience with them also attests to this quality. They have been a joy to work with.
Description of Work: Dovetail Construction added a screened porch to my existing, large deck. The porch is seamlessly attached to my house and looks as if it was built at the time the house was built rather than a tacked on structure that doesn't resemble the house. The quality of there work is extraordinary.
