Everything they have done has been superbly executed, particularly the latest one, which was a kitchen retiling project. We trust Mark, Philip, Neal and Grumbo to do everything we need done. We trust them so much that they have a key to our house. They even tend to the needs of our dogs!

They worked with me to get all the work done and helped me get the best price on subcontractors. They let me know what was happening and kept the rest of my house clean while working. They was patient when I changed my mind. They did every aspect of work, this included framing, sheet rock, painting, tile floor and bamboo flooring. They did plumbing, tile work and installed lighting, moved the smoke alarm, added a window and did all the framing and trim.

We could find no one at a fencing company to come out and give us an estimate. I discovered Marc Connery/Philip Jezierski by diligently searching online for a small, local building or carpentry company who might have more interest in our project. I contacted Marc and Philip in late September, and Philip came out as scheduled several days later to give us advice and make notes for an estimate. We received the estimate the next week with a caveat that they were very busy and would have to finish a couple of big jobs before they could start. We were not in a hurry so that was no problem. We kept in touch, and while waiting for the start date, we completed tasks such as having utility lines marked, ordering the latch, getting paint samples and deciding on colors.
This project was a challenge because the fence had to be placed very close to a low retaining wall in order to protect the flower garden. Post holes had to be dug by hand, due to footings and electric lines along the wall. The posts had to go on the lower side of the wall because the electric lines are on the upper side. Deer can jump a barrier that is not 8 feet tall, but because the retaining wall contributes about 1.5 feet of the total height, the wood fence panels did not have to be outrageously tall. The lattice panels were built on site. Decisions regarding the exact design of trim boards and post caps were made as work progressed. We worked with Philip to design a gate enclosure that would provide posts on the upper side of the fence so that the gate would be level with the parking area. On the last work day, when the crew was starting to pack up their tools, Philip asked if we thought deer might crawl under the opening left beneath lattice panels at each side of the gate. We have seen deer crawl under fences at nearby horse farms so we felt we'd be wise to accept his offer to design and construct small panels with bottom boards to block the openings. These were built, painted and installed in a couple of hours on that same day. An ability to recognize problems and a willingness to come up with good solutions "on-the-fly" were extremely helpful and much appreciated
In addition to Marc and Philip there was a four-man crew who worked steadily, were very good-natured. and cleaned up amazingly well. We would highly recommend Connery/Jezierski for building or woodworking projects, especially if the situation is somewhat tricky. We are very satisfied with the materials and the craftsmanship involved in our project.

It is really a lovely curving set of wooden steps into the hillside. It was a beautiful set of wooden steps and the man who came his name was probably Philip, he was very good. My experience was very good and he was very nice, very favorably, prompt and very professional. I would recommend others to consider using this carpenter.

A gigantic tree fell on my outdoor shed causing extensive damage to it and the fence. This happened on a Thursday, I called Connery/Jezierski and they came on a Saturday to give an estimate which I had by Monday morning. I gave to insurance company and they had a check for me by Wednesday. Connery Jezierski then came immediately and repaired all damage with very high quality work and also added in some bonus work on my house. It was a great experience and they were easy to work with, very professional and left my yard in pristine condition
