Wilbur and his crew were very professional and we appreciate that they were honest with us about what needed to be done with our gutters as it ended up saving us money. Wilbur Collins is the owner and he is a great guy. They are very responsive as I called them and left a voicemail and within 10 minutes I heard back from them and they were out the next day to do the work.

Great! Wilbur Collins was great to deal with. Prompt, easy to schedule and is very competitive with his pricing. Because of his work on replacing the roof and how great it went, I decided to hire Wilbur to put on gutters too. The gutters were installed in Feb 2012. Again, the work was fast, and on time. Everything looks great too. I highly recommend Collins Roofing and Gutters.

Their overall performance was excellent. They always arrived early, worked hard, cleaned up afterwards and were very professional. After the work was completed, it was thoroughly checked and all of our questions were answered to our satisfaction.

Collins provided the best estimate, almost 30% below the next nearest bid. Promptly scheduled the work, and the crew completed everything in just two days. Impressive given that we have a fairly complex roof. Estimate was right on target. Very impressed with the work, and Wilbur Collins, the owner, was very easy to work with. From the no hassle 20 minute estimate that Wilbur Collins gave me to the last roofing nail picked up and gutter sealed on.. an excellent awesome experience. The roof cost me about $6000. The job was excellent. Wilbur Collins is the owner. He came out and did the estimate. He was very professional and did the estimate in 20 minutes. He didn?t waste my time. I had a lot of roofers come and sit down with for hours. With him, it was not a hard sale. I would totally recommend him. I will use his services again in the future.

No problems. Crew worked non-stop from about 8am-6pm, taking short bathroom breaks and a short lunch break. I would use them again.

Seamless. Wilbur was easy to work with. He explained that a replacing the fan with a ridge vent would be more efficient for my roof type. The team completed the work in a very timely manner and did a great job. Very clean. Easy to work with. The estimate was almost spot on.

Everything went smoothly. Wilbur gave us the lowest estimate of three and his final bill was spot-on. He was responsive, patient, and informative throughout. His crew of 8 (!) roofers worked carefully and efficiently with a supervisor on site the whole time. After the roofing was completed, his gutter crew replaced approx. 30 feet of gutters and rotted fascia.

The gutters were originally done very badly and they set things right. They did a very thorough and detailed job and followed my instructions very well. It was an extensive work and their price was fair. The quality of their work was good and I was satisfied with their service.

They were timely and courteous. It was a fairly simple procedure and they got the job done. I thought that it was a bit pricey, but I agreed to the payment since he was making the visit. So far the work has worked out.

The workers did the entire project in one day and showed up on the day we agreed upon. They did a reasonable job of protecting the landscaping and cleaning up afterwords. Mr Collins pointed out that we qualified for a significant tax break if we chose white shingles, and that is what we did. They look great.

I hired this company because I had a good experience with the roofing. However, a different crew did the gutter work. The gutter cleaning and the guards were okay, but then he offered to repair some rotted wood for an additional $150. He did a very poor job, and came to collect at night before I had a chance to look at the work. Said he would come back and fix anything that wasn't right. However, when I complained about the quality of the repair work, he never came back, and didn't answer my phone call after that. Frankly, I don't think he is a carpenter, and should not have offered to do the repair.

Fabulous! Wilbur was thousands less than everyone on the quote, and final product was still less than next quote. The crew arrived bright and early and wasted no time. They knocked out an enormous job in just 2 days and cleaned up making even the yard look better than when they arrived. Wilbur was straightforward and easy to work with. Getting my new roof couldn't have been easier or more smooth. I wonder what else Wilbur's crew might do? :) My house is a 1926 bungalow and Collins roofing did a beautiful job keeping as much of the original house intact as possible and putting its corner lines on the roof, etc etc. I couldn't be more pleased...and to top it off... I am really looking forward to my next power bill. I know it will be less. My house is more evenly warm now too. This house desperately needed a new roof and it is standing tall and proud again! Wilbur's no-nonsense great work at a great price!

Mr. Collins is very attentive-contacted me right away, gave quick estimate and got the job started in the time frame he provided. Crew he uses is interesting-very nice guys and they seem to have a good time while they are working. I had one small concern after the job was finished and Mr. Collins came out himself and fixed it-he also picked up some debris his crew left and swept up without my asking. I trust that he would have handled any issue promptly and professionally. I really appreciated his personal attention.

I called the office number to schedule and estimate for roof repair and did receive an answer (message on my answering machine) 3 days later. I responded to this message, calling the office number and cell number and did not get an response. I called the office number and cell number again with no response.

Before beginning, the entire perimeter of my yard was completely covered with tarps to protect bushes, flower beds, and decking. The crew removed shingles and tar paper, removed all flashing around 3 chimneys and pipes, and removed a non-functioning attic fan. They repaired a couple of pieces of rotten roof, repapered, shingled, resealed and reflashed all joints, chimneys, and exhaust pipes. My house has many extreme angles, steep details on 4 corners of the two story house, and a roof on a back and front porch. They cleaned up meticulously upon completion. You could not tell they had been there at all. Not a nail or scrap of tar paper or piece of shingle was found. I shared my disappointment with the last roofing job and how serious I was about not having to deal with leaks or mediocre work. They even let me climb on the roof to see the new roof vents they cut to ensure my house would be under warranty. My house is two and 1/2 very steep stories with many extreme detailed angles and roof valleys. I am thoroughly satisfied and have already referred them to two other people. They completed the work in one day. Their quote was $2000 less than one estimate and about the same as another. Between the two similar estimates, I chose Collins because they are so close to my home and they are not a chain business. I am thrilled I went with this company.

The estimate was done within a day-or-two after I called (Collins was the lower of two bids), and the work crew was well-organized and thorough. No plants around the house were damaged, and all materials were carefully taken away. A magnet was used to locate old roofing nails, and the entire driveway area was blown clean at the very end of roofing work. It was great to have all the roofing work done in a single day. I'd be happy to have Collins do additional roofing work for me, should I need it.

I was very happy with the work that they did for me. They were very professional and did a great job cleaning everything up. I think that the price they charged me was very reasonable. I think they do quality work, and I can give them a call anytime if I have any troubles with the roof.

Very good service at a good price - called to let me know that some of the wood under the roof had rotted and gave me the option of coming home to see it before he replaced it. Cleaned up every scrap of evidence that work had been done, and have a great new roof. Came out promptly to give me an estimate, completed the work in one day, on the day he said he would - and will definitely use him again.

No problems after four years of weather. Price was fair and work was professional. Sometimes fails to call back.
