He has painted for me for years. He’s capable of doing quality work. He’s originally from Poland. He speaks with an accent so it may be difficult to communicate with him although he understands English well. He’s very intelligent and has a good memory. Some people might have trouble interpreting exactly what he’s saying, but he’s successful in the area. He’s worked for some home builders in the recent past. He often coordinates and works with colleagues from Poland in this area. I don’t have anything negative to say about him. He has been reliable. It is easy to gain trust for him. I think the fact that he’s from another country and from a different culture, it’s hard for a person to have faith or trust in him. I find that there’s no evidence for any kind of cheating. He has never cheated me in anyway. I feel that he has done good work. He’s changed his name to an American style name, but his real name is Janusz Domurad. He does more than painting. He does trim work also. He can do a lot of carpentry work on trim. I’ve used his company for that purpose. He has changed the trim that was originally put in and built in wood. Wherever I’ve had problems with the wood wroughting on my trim, he has converted into a composite. He does an excellent job on finishing Mahogany doors, sanding them and putting a glaze on them. They really look elegant when he sands and puts a glossy surface on Mahogany doors. He’s accustomed to working in higher end homes. When he does the work himself, it’s excellent. If he gets one of his colleagues or friends to do it for him and if he’s serving as a supervisor, it’s sometimes excellent and sometimes okay. The times that he supervises another painter when he’s not present on the job, it can be either an “A” or a “B”, but he’s an “A” painter. It’s unfair for me to characterize it differently from that because when he’s in a supervisory role, it’s always a “B” as there are different people who come to work with him. His punctuality is okay. He runs more than one project at a time, but he would show up when he says he’s going to show up. He always shows up for meetings. He’s reliable to show up for any meeting, but there are times when he says he’s going to do work on a day and not do it. He might have genuine reasons for it and it could be the weather. He’s very professional. I would definitely use him again in the future.
