About us
Owner Robert Elkes Sr started our family owned and operated business in 1969 and we have managed to provide an incredible shopping experience with the support of our loved ones. In July of 1998 Co Owner/CEO Marty Elkes Sr and his brother Robert Elkes Jr decided to join forces with the Cooperative Carpet One to provide better prices and more resources to our customers. It was truly a smart business decision because it give us the buying power of over 1500 stores and this allows to compete with anyone on pricing. Our goal is to provide professinal service with a hometown family feel. We have 9 employees in store all family except for two and they have been with us so long we view them as family. Logistically speaking we are local here in high point NC but we will also provide great shipping pricing all over the country.We give free estimates and also allow for the samples to be taken to your home so you can see it in your own lighting. The installers arrived on the day and time scheduled and looked over the job, asked questions, then went to work. They worked hard and the job was first quality, including a thorough clean up and haul away. We had a small glitch where a vent was covered, but someone quickly returned and corrected the problem.
It was a very good experience and we'd recommend them to others seeking to find good price and quality installation for flooring needs.
I want to replace the flooring in my kitchen and bathrooms and I will defiantly go to this vendor.
